It's the real victims of abuse like this caller in Florida who reinforce my outrage at the defense for using the self-defense argument.

My heart really aches when I hear the pain and anger in these survivors' voices -- THEY know the injustice and disservice that's being done by JA exploiting this defense in our court system. It makes me sick to my stomach.

I spanked my niece and nephew with a wooden spoon. I broke one on my nephew's bottom once (it was old about to break anyway). I bought a new one at Bed, Bath & Beyond and it was THICK and heavy. All I had to do was put it on the counter and the SUGGESTION of it was enough for an attitude adjustment.

IMO Jodi wasn't disciplined ENOUGH as a child.
