I have! Look, I don't think she is innocent (I mean, she has admitted she killed him) and I am skeptical that I am going to believe her rendition of what happened that day.

...but won't her rendition include Travis attacking her in such a manner that she thought her life was in danger. . . .you are worried you will believe that???

When you listen to someone, you either believe them or you don't. I believe her...can't explain why. But I view this case differently than most people here, not that I think she's innocent, but I am trying to keep very objective with an open mind. So far, I find her testimony credible except for the "I was gonna commit suicide." That did not seem authentic.

I also think she told the truth in much of the 'orange jumpsuit' interrogation. Not the 2 ninjas part, but much of the rest. You can see the changes in her style, at least I think I can.

Oh, I believe she was spanked, hit with a spoon, a belt. Many in our age group were! I bet she had her mouth washed out with soap a few times. I believe she rolled from one guy's futon to the next, and had her share of crappy relationships. She hasn't said what she did to bring on any of it. She has all this bad stuff happen but has no fault in it.

What I refuse to believe is that being spanked or having losers for boyfriends or any of this had anything to do with her murdering Travis.

Sorry, I can't help you 'cos I feel exactly the same. If this ends badly, I swear I shall never follow a US murder trial again.

Just keep chanting Juan!! Juan!! Juan!!
Plus keep focused on the second part of the AZ SD statue. NG -Not going to happen IMO.

But she made sure her makeup and hair were perfect before she started her TV interview. Her impending "suicide" wasn't as important as her moment on TV! :dramaqueen:
I don't want to sound cruel and insensitive to people who are truly struggling with thoughts of suicide, but this twit is LYING.

jmo

she also asked if she could get her make up when arrested (if ive got that right)

any updated tweets???????

I wonder why she didnt go through with the suicide as planned... :waitasec:

Antisocials only threaten to commit suicide to manipulate others. They rarely follow through with the threat.

Feel like I need to add: I could find Jodi guilty of first degree murdr, even if I believe her testimony so far to be relatively honest (except for the suicide).

Didn't I hear she threatened suicide when TA dumped her?

What kind of a necklace was it?

It's a circle that has "MOM" in the middle of it.

Sorry if this has already been answered but no matter what I do, I'm always at least 3 pages behind. Can't keep up with you kiddos anymore! :great:

They are back! :seeya:

I could be wrong (happens a lot lol). But everyone I know in life thinks she's a guilty liar. 97% of people I come in contact with on forums/facebook groups etc believe she's a guilty liar. Heck, even my 13 year old son walked in my bedroom, heard 2 minutes of testimony & said *what's wrong with her*? IMO, out of the 12 men and woman in that box- the likelihood of her fooling them is nil. Again, JMO.

I do so hope you are right. I see it, believe it. But after THAT OTHER TRIAL I almost lost all faith in this judicial system. I mean, I was devastated. I watched the verdict on TV at work, with my boss and co-workers. I had people coming up to me later to ask if I was ok. I honest to God was in shock!

So I never say never. Ever.

I truly don't think there is anything she can say that could justify the way she killed him. Juan will remind them all of that!

One would think, but people don;t always care about the elements needed to be proved.

I did think there were some key things missing from casey anthony's trial but overall I felt they did well and that they proved first degree murder of Caylee. I only had a couple little moments of doubt. One during jury selection and one right as they went off to deliberate. But for the most part I was supremely confident.

That verdict and the horrendous injustice of it really shook me. Even more than OJ's verdict did.

Let's wait until the pros get's hold of her.

No softball questions from him.

JMHO

I know. But I think she will rally. She's a fairly good actress. She knows how to wring her hands and look pitiful. I think she's better than casey at acting, frankly. Because I think casey actually felt much more guilt than this woman ever could. Notice she has far less "out damn spot" mannerisms.

This woman really scares me and her ability to fool people is horrifying.

Not going to happen. Based on the jury questions at least one person, if not more, on this jury GETS IT. Unlike the pinellas 12.

Maybe a hung jury might happen but it WON'T be an outright acquittal.

A hung jury would be pretty bad for me. Because the next batch of jurors could include more kooks.

why does the judge let that heresay in??? why?

poor Travis' family

If the prosecution doesn't object the judge stays silent. I notice that Juan Martinez has let quite a bit of what I would call hearsay, in.

However, those he objects to that the judge has let in, I either don't know why or can't figure it out because I can;t hear most of Nurmi's counters to the objections.

I swear she was the one licking her lips when Travis was close to her, she did it again.

  • #858
Jodi looks like she's looking over the jurors to decide which one to hone in on.

No, I am not worried that I will believe that. I think the relationship was very dysfunctional. But I am not concerned that I will believe it was self defense, no.
