Is the trial over for the day?

Did anyone notice when Jody's mother was leaving she lifted up her necklace to show jody
What kind of a necklace was it?

  • #783
I never believe what Jikasaurus has to say, remember how she lovingly looked into Joran van der Sloot's eyes, like he was somebody special. The dumbest things often come out of her mouth. Where is that I'm puking in the toilet icon!

Understand! Know her well! Just reporting! :blushing:

Probably letting Jodi know she will be listing it on eBay tomorrow!

Why? Just curious. Why would you believe that now she's telling the truth?

When you listen to someone, you either believe them or you don't. I believe her...can't explain why. But I view this case differently than most people here, not that I think she's innocent, but I am trying to keep very objective with an open mind. So far, I find her testimony credible except for the "I was gonna commit suicide." That did not seem authentic.

I also think she told the truth in much of the 'orange jumpsuit' interrogation. Not the 2 ninjas part, but much of the rest. You can see the changes in her style, at least I think I can.

I'm not able to watch the feed right now. Does this describe her demeanor on the stand?

Intense eye contact

Typically, when people talk to each other, they look each other in the eyes and then briefly look away. Sociopathic con artists often exhibit a "predatory stare"—unblinking, fixated and emotionless. It's not a sign of empathy—it's an effort to assert control.

I think so, yes. She really seemed to lock onto one of the jurors as they left for break. All with the eyes.

IMO all of this prattling on will largely contribute to her downfall. The way she can sit up there smiling and ranting like a little chatty cathy after what she's done really shows the jury how emotionless she is. There is no regret or remorse at all for either her actions or where they have taken her.

You hit the nail right on the head!!:what:

Did someone pass out tainted koolaid in here when JA got on the stand or something?? LMO

Darryl testified it was after she became a Mormon.

I've read too long here today.

I read this as:

Daryl testified it was after she became a moron. :floorlaugh:

No big surprise. She was team Casey.

I attributed that to her "thing" with Mason. Jean and Nurmi????? Not seeing it. No excuses this time. (She STILL thinks Mason is great!!) Dear Lord.

This explains the way she stares at her mom, before she took the stand, every day she would stare like that. creepy!

I believe her testimony so far too. Except the suicide, I don't believe that fits.

I know we all see things differently, but out of curiosity have you seen her police interviews or any of the crime scene photos?

I am convinced JC reads here! LOL she says it's like a Pretty Woman/Cinderalla story :D

In that case, I hope she realizes that it is offensive to hear her pronounce "jurors" as "Jew-roars" or "jury" as "Jew-ree". JC's terribly affected elocution bugs me no end :furious:

I thought Kohl's was a hardware store??
Kohl's is a mid-level department store. I worked there this Christmas season. We have some high quality and designer merchandise- clothing and housewares.

I get the impression frm what JA has said on the stand that she has always lived with some guy. Has she ever lived on her own? Parents and the grandparents don't count. It just seems like she never has. Thoughts??

This chick looks like Andrea Yates up there on the stand. Ugh.
