Well, I'm glad this isn't the dark ages LoL, but I disagree that women are always blamed in any given situation for the sexual downfall of a man. Many people here have mentioned, and I agree, that we wouldn't be having this discussion if the victim was a woman. I sure do believe that this woman was the downfall of Travis Alexander though. She just spent two days of testimony (by AZ standards anyway), describing how she hopped from bed to bed to bed, and that's supposed to show how she was sexually abused and taken advantage of? Where are these people she's talking about that loved her so deeply, and abused her so badly? It's more of Casey Anthony's brand of lala land. None of them will testify, because they're probably about as real as Zanny the Nanny.

It really won't matter though, until the penalty phase, whether the jury believes any of her fairy tales or not. She will still remain where she belongs. Just perhaps not facing a needle in the arm at the end. I can't believe that anyone with any cognitive function could possibly excuse her in any way for killing the man three times over, based on the lame "abuse" allegations she's putting out there. It's all based on her story. Not one person he dated has come forward to say that Travis Armstrong took advantage of them sexually in any way, shape or form. Logic leads me to conclude that she was the aggressor in all of her relationships, including her relationship with Travis Armstrong.

BBM - She could walk if the jury doesn't by 1st degree premeditated. I believe that is the only charge on the table. Verified's please confirm but I think that's what I've read.

Agreed! When my son and I go on vacation ( hubby is afraid to fly) the house looks better than I left it upon my return! He does better laundry, folds fitted sheets like a pro... I roll them.. He folds. He can cook, clean, sew...and I find that incredibly sexy!

SHe just told the story of how WE were sitting outside the courtroom and Travis' family burst out of the courtroom. She wasn't "standing there". She was sitting right next to me.

Girlfriend might have to be introduced to my triple Scorpio tomorrow night. Just to claim my territory. She's pushy. But she's no match for me I'll tell you that. I know what I'm dealing with now.

She's unemployed so will be at court every day.

That thing she just said about the hands was something I said at Happy Hour last night...to her and the others at the table.

I'm going to just focus on the victim family posture from here on out. She has no place to compete with that.

I don't think you need to compete with her -- just don't let her take your questions.

She will be forgotten after this trial. Guests like this don't get permanent gigs from these appearances.

I hate many commercials we have here. They make the men look like buffoons..inept and idiots. Whether it is a father, husband, single guy etc. And the women are protrayed as the wise ones who knows it all. What a biases bunch of crock.

When in fact through my lifetime some of the best people I have ever known are excellent husbands, fathers and single guys who are great.

I find many of our commercials demeaning to men.

Here, unfortunately, it isn't limited to commercials. Our society seems to imply that women are wise and all-knowing and it's only through our benevolent nature men survive at all. Even our schools - girls and boys play different compulsory sports in my area. Girls are disallowed from football (America's soccer, but are forced instead to play netball - similar to volleyball). And boys can't try out for the netball team much less even play it as a compulsory sport.

As mum to a son and daughter both misogyny and misandry are absolutely maddening. How much longer until we just let people be people instead of it always devolving into genders? (Off my soapbox now. Apologies.)

BUT I don't like murder trials being used for hidden agendas...unless those are serving the family in some way.

REALLY? I'm going to stop following if that's the case. I assumed she had to be found guilty regardless given that she's plead guilty. She can plead guilty and be found not guilty? ARRGGG! After KC, I have no faith in the legal system. Please tell me this isn't so!

As of now she is charged with first degree premeditated murder and felony murder.

But from what I have read lesser included charges will be added.

So she isnt going to walk anywhere except back into a cell.
