Yes it does......I stand by what I said.

And

We're on the JODI thread.

I don't think it does since I wrote the OP and it had nothing to do with anyone being mad. And the fact that such a comment is on the Jodi thread and is, imo, completely inconsistent with the tenor of the rest of this site in its entirety was my point exactly. So thanks for that ;)

quick question: watching NG & they were just explaining the stungun/tazer thingy on JA's leg and that if she goes crazy they can take her down real quick. do all criminal defendants wear one of these when taking the stand or is this a JA thing??

BBM: Who here wishes they were in charge of JA's zapper? :floorlaugh:

I can't imagine it would be specific to her. It would make sense that any time a person charged with a serious violent crime is unshackled in public that any available precaution would be taken to protect everyone present in the most effective least risky way possible.

i'm sure you can appreciate that NG put the spin on it that it was because JA might go crazy!! but it seems probable that anyone admitting to murder (and up for the DP no less) would need something like that!

I skimmed over it and thought the 30 was for the person who bought the insurance from the PPL "associate".

Thanks for clearing it up, I appreciate it.

oh your right - i guess they got these ppl coming and going - the "kit" price and required them to maintain a subscription that they had to buy from another assoc. - it took me a few websites to find that - it was kinda hidden and idk if they still require it in the present form of legal sheild - that way the assoc that signs you up gets part of the $250 - but also a part of your monthly fee - and that how you really make $$$ is w/ how many assoc you sign up - i just don't know how this was legal and not a pyramid scam??? does any one know if that had something to do w/ them changing their name to legal shield??

Having a sexual encounter in Ehrenberg would make anyone feel dirty and used! Seriously, that area is very sketch. Imo, you wouldn't meet someone there for any reason and plan to stay in a hotel there for two days EXCEPT to have sex...period. Puts the "relationship" in kind of a whole new light for me knowing that they did that.

I'm not convinced (Yet) that JA was using TA for his money. If she were, wouldn't one think she would have insisted he take her to a nicer, more romantic location than Ehrenberg? Maybe they just picked the place off of the map and did not know how sketchy it was. I would have told him that we should go to a nicer area.

Idk, I'm having serious second thoughts about the nature of this relationship from inception. I'm thinking you don't go from a swanky party at the MGM Grand to a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 in a car and a hook up at a cheap hotel off the freeway in Ehrenberg in what supposedly started as a "normal" relationship. jmo

I dont see JA getting the death penalty, not because she doesnt deserve it, just dont see it happening..She's probably gotten sympathy with some jurors, jmo

...if Jodi would have been after money she could have done a whole lot better much sooner, all her boyfriends had low paying jobs,I really think she was after the romantic notion of being "soulmates" ,I think that's why she was always so interested in her boyfriends religions and spirituality.....
I do think her upbringing explains why she quit school and moved out so early and latched on to guys....always hoping it would be the perfect relationship.
I was actually worried that I would feel really sympathetic towards Jodi if she testified, but luckily I don't,I'm still not going to bash her about things that have nothing to do with the crime, things that have everything to do with how we view each other as sexual beings....
Anyways, there are soooo many things that ticked me off about her testimony, like did she seriously blame the guys' frantic reaction who warned "Bianca" on his sexual orientation???? That tells me right there she was furious when she arrived and I wished they would put Bianca on the stand to tell what kind of threats Jodi was using against her because there is no way I believe they were just chit chatting for an hour.....

I'd not heard of PPL or Legal Shield before this trial. If it was on TV as a commercial I probably tuned it out and it didn't register in my brain. :-)

That's what I understand as well. That the $$ is in signing people up as associates rather than selling "policies" to peeps.
I don't have a salesperson personality, not outgoing enough, too shy around people I don't know. :-)

I was reading an article earlier that said bc she doesn't have a criminal history it'll be real hard to get the DP to stick!

Did you see one of her interviews where she says she would actually prefer the DP because she doesn't want to spend her life in prison?? That will be my comfort if the jurors won't give her death. Then again, my thoughts on JA getting life are that she will kill herself in there at some point just like the craigslist killer and the guy that killed the women from match(dot)com did. COWARDS. Cowards who still feel they are above the law and everyone else.

no,I don't think she would ever kill herself. Unfortunately I actually think she rather enjoys prison. The girls there really seem to like her and she gets to be the "good" girl.I think her main thing in life was always to be the "good" girl, that's why she could not handle the way Travis treated her IMO.

idk - you know how some of the ninja story might have been true when it came to poor TA's atcual attack - her being the ninja??? do you think she could be doing that again w/ her sextominy??? just switch jodi's roles?? that she could be the TA she is describing and he was jodi?? and thats why all of a sudden she suddenly had a memory loss for details??

that's interesting....

IMO there's quite a bit of truth in her ninja story! that's why when she gets to the part where he is on his hands and knees screaming - i just want to cry or throw up! she says she puts her hand on his back and says, "what's goin' on? what's goin' on?" REALLY?????? i'm sure he was pleading for his life and you know whatever she uttered was not the question of what's going on!!!!! UGH!!

as for memory loss, i'm afraid she's going to start remembering less and less re: her time with TA and by the time we get to june 4, she won't remember anything. i hope i am wrong.

sort of OT,but again during her testimony today I feel like some stuff she just makes up right then and there without being scripted, like for example all of a sudden D.B. was an alcoholic ( because he drank a whole six pack, lol?),but he quickly became sober or otherwise she wouldn't have bought a house with him.....

I'd like to play the game Vinnie P plays with his guests on HLN each afternoon:

Give me one word to describe JA's testimony this afternoon.

Bit late in responding but self-indulgent?
