My fairy tale reason they are believing her is because they didn't believe in KC and they are afraid of egg on their face again.........kinda like reverse psychology! ( lease: Let my fairy tale be right!)

In reply to "using is abusing," I think that all of us, if we had daughters dating a guy who wasn't serious and she was would tell her he is "using" her. We might even call it abuse to be stringing someone along when someone pretends to be close but isn't interested. However, for this case, when we say abuse, we are referring to it in the legal sense of what justifies imminent self defense to preserve a person's life. In that sense, "using" is not the same as abusing.

Many survivors of domestic abuse on this very forum have been extremely vocal in stating we see far more of an abusive personality in Jodi and in Travis the profile of an abuse victim.

Legal standards and subjectivity to definitions aside I've always personally found that a very strong statement. FWIW

I took this move as - crossed arms in front of her = trying to protect herself. I think that's what I've heard over the years from body language experts in various other trial discussions. JMO!

I have heard that interpretation too. If it is for the illusion of protecting herself, then I say it was another planned ploy!

I have also heard it is a sign of insecurity. <------ what I am hoping it meant!

she has testified to her stalking like behavior with her own words with past relationships and her current one.
