OBE, The letter she was testifying about was a "very nice" letter Travis sent along with her Valentines package. It has nothing to do with the forged letters, but Juan did object to the entrance of the letter none the less.
Judge called a sidebar, and court was over.

Don't laugh, but I have been wondering about this "officially" thing, and thought today maybe it refers to a Facebook relationship status? There's the joke about it, but maybe that's what her clique is referring to. What else can it mean? Sending out an email announcement? I guess I'm just old! We never did that.

My guess is that most couples - regardless of how much intimacy has already occurred - consider it official after it is discussed and agreed upon by both.

I don't understand why people say Jodi is lying?

I believe that this is her rendition of events.

That to me is what is incredibly scary.

The fact that she is so shallow and focuses only on herself and her needs.

That she justifies each and every one of her thoughts and actions because she is so awesome in every way.

Yet, she has managed to have some relationships.

Maybe they made a "pinky promise". That seems about on her maturity level. I remember that was popular in middle school when we decided to "go steady" with boys, which usually meant we would swap our fruit snacks for their oreos.

I really think JA was about as sophisticated as this.

I think what qualified their relationship as an official boyfriend-girlfriend one, was when Travis told Jodi to not date other guys. (In Jodi's case that=have sex with other guys). If he could have sex with her within 72 hours of meeting her, she'd do the same with other males. Knowing she was super "easy", he had to be afraid of catching a STD from her.

I'm glad the day didn't end with any sex tapes played, for that to linger in the Jury's mind for 4 days wouldn't have been good. It would have been an additional horror for TA's family as well.
On monday when JA took the stand, I was looking forward to it. But I fell asleep! One of In Session reporters said some of the jurors were yawning as well. We can only hope that the jury took that for what it's worth. JA's flat demeanor just reinforces that she's a psychopath, IMO. She's scary though and smart, just as psychopaths are.
