There is a hearing tomorrow - so, no jodi on the stand. I think if that hearing runs past 3pm EST when InSession goes off the air - then HLN will take over coverage. If the hearing is over, they will re-hash and replay the weeks events till JVM at 7pmEST.

He did specifically say in the last few minutes of his show that the testimony would continue. Was that misspoken? I have it on DVr and replayed it a couple times....

The guys just looking for reasonable doubt...anything to spare her the needle. If Jodi, after being warned by her lawyers, insists on lying...there is nothing he can do.

How could they truly be authenticated? Jodi's word? If there was proof they were sent from Travis's phone ,, IMO forensic dude would have said so. He didn't. There was zero and nakedness on Travis's devices.

I really do not think they would have been admitted, had there not been foundation that they were sent by Travis to Jodi Secondly you have plural Travis' devices that is not true, that should be singular laptop HD.

I have no idea why it is so hard to accecpt that these photos are of Travis Even Elisha Schnabel said how hard it must be on Travis family to have to see their own brother's genitalia....along with many others saying that it is his anatomy.

As a caucasian penis owner of several years, I have to say that I believe said penis to be caucasian and fail to see how so many posters view it as two different items if you will...circumsized and uncircumsized as well as various ethnic bckgrounds.

Defenses job is to create manufacture or otherwise put forth that doubt by any means necessary under the law.

Someone's gotta defend them. That's the way our system works. What about the person that's falsely accused? Where are they supposed to go? So this defense attorney may defend 99 guilty guys out of a 100. What if you were the innocent one?

Ya honestly think or believe for a second her lawyer believes her? Of course he doesn't. If she told him that's what happened ... That's what he's stuck with. It's not his job to go behind get and verify everything she's said to him.

It isn't a matter of what her lawyer personally believes; it's a question of what he believes can be reasonably inferred from what she tells him. This is why many defense attorneys will tell a client not to say they are guilty, even if they are; once it is said, it ties the defense counsel's hands, regardless of what he believes before the fact. It doesn't matter if a lawyer thinks his client is guilty as long as she hasn't said so.

Yes, there is wiggle room here and some attorneys make the most of it. (You may recall that David Westerfield's attorney wrote that even though his client had offered to plea bargain and lead LE to the victim's body, he (the attorney) could not know whether Westerfield was guilty or merely making a false confession. )

But we were talking about items entered into evidence. Unless the opposition stipulates to their authenticity, they have to be substantiated as accurate. And the same rules apply to the defense as to the prosecution.

You can ask one of our lawyers, but I believe if the State intended to contest the authenticity of the photos, they would have done so at the time they were entered into evidence. (There are some exceptions, where evidence is tentatively allowed, subject to future authentification. But you'd have to ask a lawyer about that. I don't think the DA would allow pics that provocative unless they had been authenticated somehow.)

I don't know but they had the in chambers meeting complete with Jodi being accompanied back there by two armed officers. Then they came out, Juan talked to the family, they smiled then court adjourned early. so.....???

@ katiecoolady I just wanted to tell you I read the link you provided about your sister's murder and I am astounded by how strong people like you and Travis' siblings are.

I am 42 and have a brother in his 30's, and we are very close...if someone took him from me, I think it would break me. I can't even begin to imagine the pain this causes siblings.

Thanks for everything you do. My heart goes out to you and Travis' family.
