I don't know why but as i watched some of the trial today and was thinking about what the defense is trying to do in this case it reminded me in a way of ileen wornos i know there were more men and a different situation but as far as what her whole defense was or the picture they tried to paind was the same as this case basically they tried to say look at all the rotten things sexuall abussive things the guys did to her and that was why ileen did what she did because of all the sexuall abuse her johns did to her...In a round about way thier defense's are simmilar ..Just a thought.

The friend I am visiting is a dear friend and neighbor, she and her handsome husband and darling children just moved back there a little over a month ago.

She is a doll and very funny so we'll have a good time wether or not I get in. It will be worth a try though.

Again, anyone have any idea on trial tomorrow. dr drew sais 3pm tomorrow testimony continues. Odd time to me. I know judge said 1030, which is 1230 est, so what is happening at 3 est.

Btw, thanks a lot bill Clinton.....

No trial tomorrow. I believe there is an evidentiary hearing but not open to the public. That is what I was told.

I think I heard the hearing has something to do with a state request or something like that. Could it be about the stolen laptop with profile information on it?

Thank You so much for putting it all together. Anybody that reads this will be shocked by how consistent her stalking has been. She added killing this time and it could become a pattern like the stalking was. Frightening.

It seems as though her attorney is guiding her down this path. It has got to be glaringly obvious to him. Why wouldn't he lead her away from the stalking-like descriptions? It's as if he is leading her to the needle.

I didn't get an update today but I'm heartened by Beth's words "we have everything archived in HLN". So next time I'll ask who's the who I need to give this info to. My tactic is going to be "if you upload that to your site it will be flooded with trial watchers wanting to watch this opening again". And I will emphasize how good of an idea it will be to do it before closings!

It was nice to meet you today. Thanks for all you do for victims and survivors.
Maybe next time I'll get lucky and actually get into the courtroom.

She knew Travis really well, and she knows Jodi is a liar who's trying to trash Travis to save her life.

Pretty logical conclusion IMO

PASA, since you weren't in the courtroom after lunch, did you happen to see the defendant's mom leave the courtroom?

Guessing she just went to the restroom but who knows.

So, if I'm a juror and have been paying attention, here's what would stand out to me and what I would want to know:

1. Jodi has engaged in weird stalking behavior in nearly every relationship she's had.

Bobby -- after Bobby left the library computer, Jodi took Bobby to his friend's house, and then returned to the library, where she accidentally hit the back button on the library computer and happened to bring up Bobby's hotmail account -- at which time she proceeded to actually read the emails in his account. She then printed off the emails and took them to Bobby and confronted him about them.

Matt -- While hanging out with Matt's Dad's girlfriend, she just happened to see pics of Matt with another girl, B. THEN, 2 people she didn't even know approached her and took a vote to tell her Matt was cheating on her. She called in sick to work, drove to another state to confront Matt and this Bianca girl -- Matt wasn't there, but "Steve" found it necessary to go warn Bianca. She confronted her at her home and talked to her for an hour and a half.

Travis -- she kept hitting back button on his computer until she ended up in his email account. She then proceeded to read every email between him and a female. Saw that he was flirting with girls about making out and was having "affair" with married LDS woman.

She snooped through his text messages when he was napping.

She logged on to his Facebook and Gmail accounts way after they were broken up and after she had moved back to California. She explained that Travis had given her the passwords to "re-establish trust" months after they had broken up. This is not believable.

She listened to Travis' voicemails 4 hours after she murdered him.

2. She moved in with every boy she dated.

3. Every time she got pissed, she packed up and moved, usually to another city. She was pissed at her parents for grounding her, so she quit school and moved in with a vampire and his elderly hoarder parents/grandparents. She was pissed at Bobby so she moved out and went back to visit Victor. She was pissed at Matt so she moved again to another city to get away from him.

4. Every time she broke up with a boy, she got back together with him and continued to have sex with him -- sometimes moved back in with him, and continued hanging out with his friends and family.

5. Every time she got a new boyfriend, she got a new religion

6. All of the "cheating", which led to the snooping and confrontations seems to have taken place after Jodi and her boyfriend-du-jour had already broken up. She just didn't seem to accept the breakup and continued to expect the ex boyfriends to be "faithful" even after the relationship ended.


So you put all this in context, and if I were on that jury, I would think the last visit to Travis was not something Travis knew about or invited. Based on her pattern with other boyfriends, as a jury member, I would believe that she went to confront Travis because she was pissed. I would think about how she behaved with other boyfriends and consider that she took a gun and knife with her this time -- and it would be pretty clear that she was so pissed that she drove several hundred miles to confront Travis and kill him.

Caller on NG named Bill says this is the first ANAL DEFENSE.

Bill told NG he thinks Travis was forced to take the shower pics. Look at his face, he's not giving any smiles or making cute poses. Bill was as outraged about how Jodi killed Travis when he was unaware and in the shower being held at gun or knife point. NG looked stunned by Bill's strong opinion on the shower pics. Thank You Bill!

I agree with that. And the one where he's sitting in the floor of the shower, why would he get into such a submissive, vulnerable position. He just doesn't look right to me, something's wrong here. Also, the expression on his face really gives me pause as well, certainly not like he's enjoying himself or even doing it willingly. I really believe he was being forced to do this at gun point.

IMO, she got him into that position so she would have the upper hand, and it would be harder for him to fight back. That look on his face, at this point, I believe it had dawned on him what was going on, and he was fearing for his life. jmo
