When the guy who was former roommate of TA, (who's sister also testified, can't think of their names), he did say that the process was much more rigorous than what Jodi described.

He said there was months of study and prayer and counseling. I think they took a short cut with Jodi and not sure why, but she doesn't seem to have much real understanding of Mormonism.

But it makes me think that Jodi is lying (surprise!) about TA not being into her except for sex in that first couple months of their relationship. Because by late Nov, Travis is baptizing her. I don't see why he'd rush that if he was really not that into her.

It makes me think more that he actually was considering her possible marriage material early on. And that (IMO) he was not really treating her like crap in general, esp in the first few encounters. Which I am not even sure I believe they met up.

I wonder if Juan will get hotel records and prove that they were there at all.

Attorney for Sheriff's office (I think). Sheriff has a security concern when JA has been allowed into the Judge's chambers. Either they have to remain in the courtroom and the spectators move out, or the parties can move into the secure room JA enters court from. No more letting her into unsecured areas.

My DH has been watching and has become somewhat sympathetic towards Jodi.Says that he believes that maybe Travis did treat her like a "dirty little secret".My question to him was,so what if that were true?Is that justification for brutally murdering him?Finally saw the light and agreed that no,that's no reason to murder.But it scares me a bit that he can't see thru her.

I think they used each other for differing reasons. But TA could move on, JA could not

I just had a realization that I don't think the murder part of JA's story will be covered today. They will drag out her phone sex and her road trip and leave on that note so that Juan doesn't have all weekend to finish cross-exam prep. UGH I hope I am wrong.

The more I think about it, the more I come up with the same answer. Jodi could not handle the fact that Travis did not want her. Any relationship she was in, if the boyfriend cheated on her, she went back to him until she could leave knowing he still wanted her. Travis broke it off with her. She kept trying to get him back - she could not handle him not wanting to be with her. I think the tragic trip was for her to try once again, but he said no. She could not handle it.

i have read that b4 from her sister - imo i think it is true - and as much disdain as i have for jodi - it is just wrong to attack her family - they are victims too - they didn't ask to have their lives torn apart like this - and even if they do support jodi - its her family - even the sisters baby has been attacked on the web - and imo i don't think thats how TA would want his supporters to act and just makes me sad that pp would do this

I don't know if this has been mentioned as I can not keep up with all the threads and posts (you folks are prolific posters, and I mean that in a good way!) but last night on one of the HLN shows, a friend of Travis's said that Travis had introduced him to the word "nymphomaniac" and said that Jodi was indeed a nympho and wanted sex all the time.

I believe Travis's friend told the whole truth and nothing but the truth, wish the Prosecution would call him and ask him this question in rebuttal. I forget the friend's name though. He was himself a Mormon and very handsome.

If you can believe Darryl she did have months and months of counseling in the Mormon faith prior to attending the convention. jmo
