..."and what if I decline, Judge"??? :great:
I don't think every capital murder case calls for a death penalty. I think the definition of heinous, cruel, and over and above murder one qualifies and I have no problem saying that people like, say, Jodi Arias, Scott Peterson, Wendi Andriano, Richard Ramirez, Darlie Routier, Richard Allan Davis should absolutely have the death penalty for their heinous crimes. I believe Ted Bundy and John Gacy got what they deserved. The above people, for instance, will get (or got) a far more humane death than what their victims got. I don't necessarily believe that every person on death row should be there. There is one woman in my state that I would love to see a retrial on simply because there is no evidence stating that she confessed-except for a detective with previous misconduct charges saying she did. no recordings, no nada. Too much room for doubt. So I can go either way easily. In a case like this though....this is heinous and above and beyond murder one. I would love to see her on DR.I'm ambivalent...right down the middle. Logically I have no problem, could probably throw the switch and insert the needle. But another part of me feels its intrinsically wrong.
I can live with it & can respect those for and against.

THIS has been bothering me for days too.
Why would Travis ever do or say anything that would lead her on after everything that had been going on?
I went back to the pictures she took that day.
Travis appears to be sleeping in one & wakes up & throws a peace sign in the other.
Could it be possible there wasn't any sex that day?
Yes it could.
Maybe she got there & asked to crash on the couch after he turned her down. She does say nothing happened until the next day.
Maybe Travis always sleeps in the raw & she got up & seen the camera, went into his room while he is still alseep, put that KY jelly there to make it look like they had sex & started snapping pictures.
As for the nudes of herself she could have took them anytime during those hours she was there.
Another thing.. if they did have sex I'm sure JA would have marked her territory by either giving him a hickey or would have made sure to leave scratches all over his back, unless ofcourse she intended to kill him & not leave evidence behind.
I really think he turned her down that day & that's why it was such a rage killing.
I'm going to pull a Gus and plead the 5th!
Ahahahahaha!
My sisters and I used to laugh at my Mom for calling tissues "Kleenex" and ANY soft drink was a "Coke".
Do you have an attorney? Not at this time says a top seller of Pre Paid Legal services.
I felt/feel just like this. I NEED justice to be right this time or I will lose faith in our court system completely. It's hanging on by thread at the moment.
DB seems like he was a decent man. Certainly loves his son. Had a nice home and generally steady employment.
Okay, was looking for the photo that TotallyObsessed can't make out, did a google search for 'jodi arias crime scene photos' then clicked on photos....if you don't want to see a very graphic photo of TA in the shower, please do not ever do that search. Traumatized right now. I can't imagine being a juror in this case.
:tyou:
I hope someone has contacted the DA's office with this information. It appears it could be vital for the States case!
JMHO

I think I can see it now. Is that his ear? Top right where the large black circle cuts through?
This picture is the nail in her coffin, imo.
I never understood how his head is crooked forward in that picture though..as his arms seem lifted. Was he possibly still alive?
There are quite a few pictures of them traveling to different places in the US. It is hard to say what their relationship was.
I find it curious that Jodi lived in and was exposed to mega money that she was so impressed with eating at some fancy dinner.
I still do not understand why she didn't hook up with some rich guy like Anna Nicole Smith did. She certainly saw the men and life style where she lived.
Jewels, vacations, shopping on Rodeo Drive. Maybe she was going that route since she did get her boob job.
Is he in the shower at this point? TIA The picture I did not mean to see showed him face up kinda in the shower in this picture he is face down right? lol I am trying to see it :banghead:
ugh worse thoughts even..what if she was pulling him by his hair?
his head seems like it's lifted forward on its own.. if he was already dead, wouldn't it flop back? (sorry so graphic)
he's on his back, head tilted forward, right shoulder semi lifted from tile floor.
I'm not sure how I am one of the few that can see it easily?
Thank you so much for this - it helped me finally see it! Makes you wonder how in the world this picture was taken when she was dragging him....:waitasec:
Gitana, thanks for stepping in. I am still confused. I pulled the wrong document earlier. I have the correct
one linked below.
It appears to me that Nurmi tried every way he could to withdraw from this case. Quoting from the proper set of minutes:
The Court declines to allow Mr. Nurmi to withdraw
from his representation of the Defendant in this matter, or to allow Mr. Peterson
to substitute as counsel. Once counsel is appointed to a case, he shall
continue to represent [his client] in all further proceedings in the trial court,
. . . unless the court permits him . . . to withdraw. Rule 6.3(b), Ariz.R.Crim.P.

http://www.americanbar.org/groups/p..._declining_or_terminating_representation.htmlClient-Lawyer Relationship
Rule 1.16 Declining Or Terminating Representation
(a) Except as stated in paragraph (c), a lawyer shall not represent a client or, where representation has commenced, shall withdraw from the representation of a client if:
(1) the representation will result in violation of the rules of professional conduct or other law;
(2) the lawyer's physical or mental condition materially impairs the lawyer's ability to represent the client; or
(3) the lawyer is discharged.
(b) Except as stated in paragraph (c), a lawyer may withdraw from representing a client if:
(1) withdrawal can be accomplished without material adverse effect on the interests of the client;
(2) the client persists in a course of action involving the lawyer's services that the lawyer reasonably believes is criminal or fraudulent;
(3) the client has used the lawyer's services to perpetrate a crime or fraud;
(4) the client insists upon taking action that the lawyer considers repugnant or with which the lawyer has a fundamental disagreement;
So I do see all the foot/shoulder/pants/arm components of the picture but I don't get two things. The first is how the foot is so huge compared to his head and shoulder. I get foreground and all that but if she's dragging him, wouldn't his head be really close to her foot and thus appear large? Next, how is the camera dropped and taking a picture of the ceiling 45 seconds after the seated picture, then it's still right by them to snap this picture with the foot? How???
From the video: Is this a photo of Jodi???? If so, I think she has some definite facial plastic surgery done since this photo on her nose, etc.

My sisters and I used to laugh at my Mom for calling tissues "Kleenex" and ANY soft drink was a "Coke".
Me too! I've been thinking that all along..Unfortunately "Dog Day Afternoon"...But I adore the intensity and passion nonetheless...
Hey, I went trough a slutty stage. I freely admit it, don't regret it and own it. I'm not pretending to be Mother Theresa ...
Jodi is the kinda girl that givesa bad name! IMO

That is Annie Le. It's not jodi.
Hey guys here's another article written about JM's case -- another Mormon angle. I'm really interested in the general concensus in the LDS community about this one. I've talked extensively about this to the writer of this article (Paul Rubin is my friend) and he lands on thinking Doug Grant was NOT guilty. I think he's guilty as sin. Anyone know of this one? (another poster pm'd me to share about this too...so thanks!).

Martinez called him a "black angel of death".
Are you insane?! ALL tissues are "Kleenex"! :what:
