Yes, it comes down to whether Jodi reasonably believed that Travis was going to kill her. And I don't think anyone believes Jodi can sell that story, not even Jodi and her defense team.

I have said before that I am a death penalty opponent, but this latest indignity against Travis that Jodi is preparing to commit -- I'm beginning to change my mind and embrace the death penalty for Jodi.

I think her insistence on causing so much additional harm to the victim's memory and to those who love Travis -- in and of itself it should be an aggravating factor the jury should be able to consider in determining her penalty.

i swear you are reading my mind - those are my exact thoughts!

It's people like Jodi that make me wish I weren't an atheist. I would so like to believe there was a special place waiting for her in hell.

We can but hope that something comes around one day and bites her in her well-used butt! :behind:

Sorry, I did not state that very well. The Facebook page is for a Victor Arias who lives in Costa Rica. There is that picture which she captioned, "Mario, me, Bobby and Victor, chillin in Utah". I have been looking around for these guys and found the Facebook page for this Victor. I kind of think it looks like him.....that is supposing ther really is such a person, but I thought Victor really did commit suicide but Bobby only tried......maybe I am confused.

the pic of "Mario, me, Bobby and Victor, chillin in Utah" is not from that fb page - it is from jodis my space account

And major viruses. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 sites are notorious for them

and its not like jodi could just remove a virus b4 she left - the virus always leaves footprints even after they are removed that a computer specialist could find

I hope there are a lot of men on the final jury. Y'all tell me if I'm overestimating the male-female differences here:

Isn't it true that men have more fear of being falsely accused of rape than of being raped? And it's the reverse for women. Aren't more men afraid of being called a pedophile falsely by an angry ex or soon-to-be ex? Women are much less likely to be falsely accused of that.

JA is hitting on some pretty big fears that men have, right down to actually taking a guy's life in a jealous/possessive rage. She, imho, is a guy's worst nightmare involving dating and sex.

I think that accusing Travis of being a pedophile just makes her look more like some mythic anti-male she-devil (and seductress)! It makes it easier to believe she did it, imho!

Yes, I know that. The Victor Arias Facebook page is a separate deal. I was comparing the picture on VA Facebook profile to the picture from her MySpace account.

I was thinking she meant Travis knew the Woman with the "generous top" the drunk lady for 5 to 6 months How funny is that I read it totally different oops

I learned last week that the "drunk lady' was a long time friend of Travis'. Everyone knew them as platonic friends in that crowd. Well, everyone except Jodi of course. She spun this story as if he had a one night stand in public with a stranger. It was one of his good friends.

I know what man I want on the final jury. He's sitting in the front row and he won't even look at her. I can't blame him.

I suppose you are correct..! Now that I think about it the "good cop" approach did not work for Flores... she rather took it (imhoo) that he was succumbing to her charms/her spell.

I feel like it is working wonders as far as how the jury is perceiving these interviews. It does not distract the viewer from determining her absolute lack of remorse, and other subtleties that point one way to cray-cray>>>>

I can't answer these questions, but it seems to me like men aren't nearly afraid enough of these things.
What I see is when these things do happen, men are dumb-founded - could never have imagined it would happen to them.

I interrupt this thread for a Public Service Announcement:

Justin Bieber will be hosting Saturday Night Live tonite.

I will be in the audience for Hal Holbrook doing Mark Twain, then rush home to switch gears for the Biebs.

Just keepin it real....

You're welcome, carry on. :seeya:

and that is exactly what I think the male jury members will be thinking

The "I Love Victor" panties as his background is priceless.....LOL

Yes, but they are clearly professionally done, not like those tawdry sticky letters we have seen recently. It is a big coincidence, tho......

True. But I think most traumatic things do come up with no warning and blow one's optimism to shreds! It is really hard to believe that sometimes you can't be careful enough or that you wouldn't want to live like that even if you could be that careful. Most people think that they have safeguards that will protect themselves and that the victims didn't :(

If the jury were 100% woman, I would be more concerned that they'd take their own abuser or rape experiences and put themselves in JA's place. She's so manipulative and awful and never said no that there's not a huge chance of that, but still. I think the guys, particularly, will be imagining themselves in Travis' place and thinking about how little he did wrong.

I understand there is a young man in his 20's...does he impress you one way or the other?

Hmmmm....well there is a youngish man in the front who's very attentive. My fantasy foreman sits next to him. The "stenographer" (I call her) is in the front row with the tri color hair. She takes notes on EVERTHING.

There is only one man on the jury who concerns me. I can't exactly articulate why and don't really want to. It doesn't have to do with him being caught in a Jodi spell though. I'm hoping he gets on the alternate list though.

Other than that one man I feel 100% confident this jury will convict her and sentence her to death.
