Jodi is just so disgusting I'm feeling queasy! What she's doing is despicable! My stomach is in knots in anticipation of today's bold faced lies. His poor family.

Hi all. I'm a newbie here but I have recently had an experience which sheds some light on the discussion about why the odor of decomposition did not alert the roomies.
Last December my neighbor in my apartment building died in her bed. I knocked on Monday morning to return some borrowed eggs and she was obviously ill--said she wanted to be left alone. I left town to babysit my grandchildren and received a call on Thursday to return immediately. They had just discovered my friend's body--alerted by the odor. The police were called and it took twelve hours for the coroner to arrive. A policeman was posted by the door.
This is California and our apartments are not air conditioned --this is the East Bay. With apartments side by side it took four days for the odor to draw attention. Half a day later the odor was detectable in the apartment underneath the victim as well. It got much worse between day four and day five when they finally removed the body.
With the roommates living on the other side of the house, I find their testimony consistent with my own recent experience.
Thanks for letting me join--

I am new to following this case, somewhat new, I only kept up with headlines all these years and missed the first month of the trial. I won't DARE ask the obvious questions, I'll catch up on my own sooner or later, but i have a burning question that I can't seem to find an answer to.
Whatever happened to Napoleon?
Very compelling! <-- (to quote JA)

Got a java plug-in error in Firefox.

I plan on watching her but not listening today. I want to see her behavior without chatter and lies.
was the econo-sized bottle of KY from the photos on 6/4 found at the crime scene by detectives, and in evidence? or was that something jodie brought with her, and took with her?
if it was something she brought along, sure seems like a very odd thing to pack for a supposed business/friendly trip to Utah.. unless you were planning (aka premeditating) using it...
Hi all!
Wow, I thought my day was ruined! Didn't read the threads over the weekend but prepped some meals so I don't have to cook for a few days, got all chores done and I go to the Trial section and everything was moved. I thought the whole thing was shut down!anic:
Whew, back to reading...Thanks mods for the forum, must have been a lot of work!
She was actually convicted of voluntary manslaughter. I don't believe its a comparable case though because there were actually corroborated events of abuse (arguable in my opinion that it rose to the level of self-defense though). This kind of defense worked for Mary Winkler. She got off scot free for shooting her husband in the back.
I want the jury to hear everything JA has to say. She can't keep the stories straight. The longer Nurmi keeps her on hte stand, the more stress pressure is building up. JA has to 'blow' at some point. Maybe it will be a gift when Juan is doing the cross.
