maybe it went down this way (HYPOTHETICAL HERE)

Arias: judge, Travis's family keeps making faces at me when I am on the stand

Judge: call in the media liason

media liason: rewind's through all the footage and no faces are being noticeably made

arisa: gets pissed and starts crying

enter the jury (hands crossed staring at Travis family with daggers)

dismissed for lunch to talk about matters.

(just a guess)

Based on the rest of this trial, this is a GREAT guess :banghead:

I am going to be hatin life if there is a plea and we don't get to see Juan shred her!

There is no plea deal in the works.... Travis' family wanted her to get the death penalty BEFORE the trial even started, before she took the stand, before she accused him of every horrible thing.

Do you really think the state would even entertain that thought for a nano second... NOT A CHANCE!!!

I did see one of Travis' sisters roll her eyes once yesterday. The other times she was just doing a sarcastic smile any time Jodi weaved her tales of "woe is me". But in my opinion, I didn't find her "faces" to be distracting or inappropriate.

To watch Defense Attorneys and Television Psychiatrist/Psychologist, MD's saying they believe her, they believe Travis did this and she is credible makes me feel only one thing.

I don't feel protected by them, I don't feel safe. Their ability to judge people is so far off they would fight for these people to be stroked and made whole again and returned home so they can heal.

And they are putting all of us and our families in danger. I would be worried if I were a wife or son or daughter of theirs that they have no judgment of danger and you are not safe around them.

Don't worry, it is all for show and $$. jmo:seeya:

What could they possibly say about Travis' family reactions?? They have showed little to no recation, certainly less than I could possibly imagine doing myself if it were MY brother! They have been stoic, and the picture of class. I don't see how that could be the problem?

They gasped and ran out of the courtroom when the horrendous autopsy picture was shown. There was a motion for mistrial arguing that the jury could be improperly swayed by emotion because of the family's reactions.

JA has not been *caught* in a lie as far as I know.
I think people are just speculating about why she looks upset this morning. Personally, I have never seen her look upset ever, until those few moments they entered the courtroom and then left for lunch… And I mean, NEVER (IMO). I am assuming her seeming upset is because of a selfish reason only.

She told two stories about how she injured her finger. One is a lie. :moo: quote failed. :waitasec:[/QUOTE]

Both are lies IMO. Travis didn't break her finger and then splint it up for her and the ninjas didn't cut her on that one finger and told her to scat before they changed their minds and killed her too.

Return at:
12:00 PM Pacific
1:00 PM Mountain
2:00 Central
3:00 Eastern

9PM GMT

Which means I can watch Celtic play Juventus in the Champions League, without wondering whats going on in the courtroom.

She looked how my kids looks when I catch them at something, prove it and then lay down the law.

A plea deal can be reached at any point until the jury reaches a verdict. A plea deal is just a possibility being speculated about.

So maybe she wanted a plea deal and Juan Martinez said no ????

No matter what the issue is, I'd expect them to be taken aside to get an explanation.

Agreed and thank you, for your very honest insight. I for one, very much appreciate it.

Ahhh, maybe TA's family said something mean about JA and her family overheard it and were upset. Poor JA is just beside herself because her family is being put through this ordeal with those mean people within ear shot! :what:

maybe, maybe not
fran

They were not warned before when Juan pulled up that picture of Travis with his throat cut so I believe the judge is showing them some consideration by letting them know what is coming. We expected to hear more of January, February, March and April today. So it looks as if we are going right to June. lol

I just cannot believe a whole morning was wasted with no testibologny.

Kudos for the coinage.

You should trademark both testibalogna and testibaloney.

On cross-ex, I anticipate testimoaney from her as well.

And we all know that the defense experts will provide testimoney.

I think Nurmi knows they are screwed. Didnt he want out? He knows that Juan will rip her apart with all her stories. I wouldnt be surprised if they tried another plea. IMO

Remember his job is to keep her off of deathrow if he can do that he won this case. Jmo

Do we really have to talk 🤬🤬🤬🤬 about the Arias family? I find it a bit unnecessary. Except for the mom (who allegedly sold tapes/letters, etc) the rest of them I would just let them be -- some comments are a bit over the top. The dad is freaking dying of cancer guys. Let's all be classy about this, just like the Alexander family has. Just my .02

I completely respect your post, however I do feel like the disprespect JA's family is showing at trial is disgusting. The whispering, giggling, outwardly laughing and treating court like it's just any old family get together opens them up to every comment I've seen. I, personally, haven't seen anything posted about her father or brother. I also haven't seen any real "*****" talking either - so maybe I missed something. Her mother, aunt and sister are the ones I feel deserve the negativity due to their behavior.

they keep saying on HLN that the delay has to do with the phone sex call, but didn't they take a half of a day last week to deal with the call??? or maybe it was the week before.

is it possible that the judge wants to see some of the footage from yesterday? If the reaction of the family was being discussed and then she called in the media liason... just a thought.

CANNOT believe the delays.

That's what I think....defense demanding a mistrial. Jean C. made a huge deal about sister Sam "making faces".

I really question the credibility of those who side with her. Knowing what we know, seeing her lie with detail effortlessly and watching her on the stand these past days, how does one find credibility in her stories? How do you pick and choose when she is lying when from the start she lied to get away with the crime? i just don't get it. My aunt has a daughter that is a pathological, emotional blackmail liar and she always pulls the wool over her eyes. I hear her stories and can tell from the beginning that she is lying, my aunt seems to believe anything and even makes excuses. How do you usher these types into the light? Are they delusional or just not smart enough to see the wool covering their eyes?

Most of the people that have been defending her haven't talked to her in years. Mark Eiglarsh called out that Gayla woman on Dr. Drew because she hadn't spoken to Jodi in over 10 years. There really isn't anyone in her recent past (excluding her family) that has come out to bat for her. That speaks volumes.

Ya know what would be FUN? If Juan M said he needed to get a quick x-ray on that finger to see if it is broken or just has a severed tendon....
