Good morning. I did a quick skim of last night's posts and this thread but didn't read every single entry. There were too many TV choices last night, so I shut down the computer and didn't follow the continuing discussion after yesterday's testimony. I watched JVM and parts of NG who eventually ended up talking about the manhunt in southern California. Tried to catch some of the President's address and the dog show. DH was watching the Michigan/Michigan State basketball game.

I hope the jurors saw through Jodi's sweet, shy, innocent act when the phone sex tape was played. She is beyond bad - conniving, manipulative, sinister, a seductress, a stalker. Jodi is immature, insecure, jealous of the attention paid to anyone but her. Despite her unfailing efforts to rope Travis into caring for her as she did him, he wanted nothing to do with her. She was a scorned woman who made sure that no one else would have Travis if she couldn't. Poor Travis. :moo:

Jodi wanted so much for the jury to hear what a big, bad man Travis was by playing only selective excerpts from "her" tape. How's that working for you now, Jodi?

The hearing starts at 10:00 am local (Phoenix/Mountain) time. The Jury was told to arrive at 11:00 am local Phoenix/Mountain time. That would be 1:00 pm start for those of us on Eastern time.

I am not a betting type person.. but if I were I would expect to see her on the stand today, tomorrow and at least one or maybe even two days next week

I actually got sad hearing Travis singing (?) the National Anthem. I don't even know him but I can only imagine how is family must have felt. The memorial tribute is so touching. He seems like someone who really loved life and was always surrounded by a lot of friends. Soo sad. Has anyone noticed that Jodi has NO friends of her own? They were all Travis' friends. I think she met him, he was her age. He was successful, fun and exciting. She was loving all the trips and all the excitement. She was so excited that he was going to come see her in May and then he cancelled that trip. That did it for her. He was pulling away, going w/ someone else to Cancun and the only way for her to get over him was to kill him.

Travis' Family does not have any say in the defense case or the decision of the Judge to allow the evidence. The only decision they could have would be to stay or not.

I'm no legal eagle, but that's how I see it anyway.

In Arizona victims do have a say in some aspects of a criminal trial. Victims are afforded certain rights by Arizona's constitution. They are even allowed to be represented by counsel and participate in the case like a party to some degree.

I wonder if this is why she was so upset and crying yesterday? She thought they could pick and choose excerpts but instead had to play the whole tape. I enjoyed watching her squirm listening to that in front of the whole world! :great:
