No trial today? Well phooey! I tape Jeopardy to save it for days like this. Comes on several times a day, so I have quite a few to catch up on.

Sorry the judge is sick, though. Hope it's just temporary. Probably, because they are taking the blackout a day at a time.

Does this mean housework?

I'm equally as sick of Nurmi as I am of Arias.

I've mentioned it before, but am more struck by the thought after yesterday's text in which Travis ribs the defendant for not meeting a PPL quota of whatever kind.

The defendant went to PPL on her own initially, but IMO Travis is the only reason she remained with the company. A lot is made of the fact she converted to Mormonism to hold onto Travis, but I think it's equally relevant that she inserted herself into the other key part of Travis' s life- his work- and would not let go.

She reports zero income from PPL in 2007 or 2008, yet expects Travis to take her to PPL meetings and conferences across the country. Being seen as a success in the business is important to Travis, and he judges others in the business on the same basis, yet she expects him to drag along on his arm a non-producer who in 2-3 years hasn't even achieved the lowest goal in the business?

So, we think the defense wanted to end with the murder from their view today leaving it with the jurors over the long weekend.

With this happening today, will they end it during the week or will they drag JA's testimony out to next weekend?

Oh no! No, that's not possible. I hope hope hope that is not possible.

Poor judge! She must be feeling really bad to do this. Hope she's on the mend soon. :getwell:

court has been cancelled for today - Judge is sick (of hearing JA's lies)

And a case of vertigo from Nurmi's rotating left hand. :hypno::hypno::hypno:

She just makes bull crud up as she goes along. It really is sickening to watch. Also, she comes across as so shallow. Sorry, watching IS right now...previous testimony.

This trial just seems to be going on so dang long. It feels like time has stood still the entire time Jodi has been on the stand. I truly feel sorry for the jury.

Right. I haven't heard word one of her working the PPL pyramid.

I wasn't aware of the zero income. I'm surprised she didn't sell a policy to the people that took her in - her grandparents. I remember hearing about sales agents that would sell policies to trees ( to meet quota) Mr. Oak and Mrs Peachtree.

I love how she hung up on him when he started swearing but she had zero compulsion about deviant sex, not that she hadn't already gone there before with a variety of others, including a vampire hunter.
