In Session ‏@InSession
Gus Searcy: #JodiArias called me June 5th at 3:30a.m. and told me #TravisAlexander was dead, the night after she killed #TravisAlexander.

I wonder if that was on her way back to California after leaving alibi Ryan?
She left for the drive home in the middle of the night IIRC.

If that was the actual date she called Gus, I mean.

Oh you guys....

My 4 year old grandson just stopped by my office with my daughter and delivered a "bouquet of red roses" and a card he made for me this morning at preschool.

The red roses were made out of....red tootsie pops

:floorlaugh: Hahahahaha!

Re: Gus

From what I understood on In Session - Gus said Jodi called him on the night (actually am) TA was killed?

He said JA stated she was in Northern California during the call, but I can't remember what state Gus was in on June 4th.

If anyone knows if Gus received the call @ 3:30a what time would it have been in northern CA?

Thanks in advance. Please excuse any errors I make in posting...I seem to be WS challenged.

Questions based on my memory which and probably is faulty. LOL.

If JA testifies that she took the gun with her to commit suicide in front of TA it will be laughable. How many times can she say she planned to kill herself? This is a woman who stabbed a man 29 times, slit his throat and shot him. Surely she could kill herself easily with all her premeditation and planning. Psycho.

She's just trying to out-Betty Broderick Betty Broderick.

1. I think it's plausible that JA called Gus that night, it's typical drama queen behavior. Everyone she knows is sick of her s**t, so she leeches on to new people who didn't figure out her angle yet.

2. I think the judge on Dr Drew last night missed the mark when she insisted that JA must have been in love with Travis. Since he wasn't rich or important, the only conclusion is that JA was really in love with him.
I think she's either underestimating or doesn't understand that all this is relative. To someone in JA's position and economic status in life, Travis represented a degree of affluence, the kind of person who "doesn't have to worry about paying the bills," in JA's own words. That was something she didn't have and coveted. Maybe she "loved" him (although I doubt that word can be used about JA), but more than that, she dearly wanted the good life he represented.

ITA.

Sorry, Gus, but Jodi smelled your money and used you like she used everyone. (Gus has the patent on voice recognition software.) Jodi knew she could bamboozle Gus. IMO, Jodi called Gus crying hoping he would pay for her defense attorney.

If someone was on his laptop at 4am is it possible she arrived at 3am and "they" were on it. What time is it speculated she got there

i believe it was speculated that she got there @ 4ish.. but why would travis need to use a proxy to browse if they were both sitting there using the computer? We know that Jodi liked to break into his emails etc. Can the proxy be used to do this without leaving any trace that someone was snooping in your business? They said someone was checking emails. What kind of emails? PPl related or personal like messages from other girls etc? It makes me feel like Jodi was there going through his computer that night while he wasn't around. I can be wrong tho but I don't know.

I saw this post by "Chad Perkins" on TA's Myspace. I wonder if JA set up a dummy account with that name so she could post and embarrass TA. TA might have added "Chad" even if he did not "know" him. He could have thought it was somebody he had met in passing at a PPL convention. I remember in the early days of MS and FB people were adding "friends" left and right even if they had not seen them since grammar school. If "Chad Perkins" is a real friend he is warped. IMO

"Chad Perkins
Twas two nights before Christmas, and all through the greater Phoenix area, Travis was cruising for underage boys to make his Christmas more cozy. Have fun, just don't violate the terms of your probation!"

Wowzie woozie. Maybe he is a friend, with a warped sense of humor- some guys do- and this is where Jodi got her IDEA from?

I don't believe him.

Me neither. Wouldn't shock me in the slighted if a civil suit came down the pike. Lots of money to be had. :furious:

Sigh, might as well do my windows....

Well, in that case, if you are going to do your windows I darn well better go get snacks for my kids after school! Today is a special day after all, I'm going to let it be!

Bye friends, I will check in later!

They need to subpoena his a*# right now for a deposition...

Not that I'd even trust him to tell the truth then. He's completely suspect now. It makes no sense for him to have made a few calls and then just dropped it. He's never said anything all these years? Not buying it.

JMO

That's what he wants

Right, he himself admits he has two kinds of testimony ready. Funny, he is the only witness to claim he had information important enough to hel or hurt the case.

Yeah, but he said that others may not come forward due to intimidation and I have felt that way all along. No PPL people will cross Chris and Sky Hughes, IMO.

I believe Gus. He sounded totally credible and objective, with the exception that I think he's confused about JA calling June 4th. I think she called June 9th when he was found by LE and therefore there was no reason he had to notify authorities of anything at the time. The date of TA's death was not known at that point in time.

Later when she was arrested, he thought LE should know that she said she was in NoCal when she called him, but he misunderstood that the killing had taken place days earlier. He thought the killing happened the same night as the call.

Remember Jodi called that other woman in Utah in the middle of the night crying hysterically, too. I think JA called them both the early morning of June 10.

i agree katiecoolady. If he had information that Travis was dead on the 5th why not call the police? He knew travis longer than Jodi, they were acquaintances. Why would he left Travis' death go unreported for days if he found out about his death on the 5th? How would this HELP jodi in anyway. If she calls you on the 5th and says "Travis is dead" and no one has discovered his body yet how would this be helpful to her. How would Jodi having info that Travis was murdered before being found be helpful to her? He's lying.

I agree. If somebody called me and said somebody was dead there would be a flurry of calls on my part to find out what was going on.

Show the phone records to at least prove calls Gus!

BBM

Exactly. IF this is true, show the records and Juan should get on it or he should have been on it. Juan wouldn't have missed this.

Coming from Gus...it sure sounds....unbelievable. But stranger things have happened (like someone in Florida being found not guilty of....anything, except lying!)
