I'll be back later, friends. I have to run over to the mall to pick up some pedophilia pamphlets.

Sounds like some kind of Gardening Literature...

During this lull, I am re-watching and rereading things. This video I really think should be the last thing the jurors see right after being shown every one of his autopsy photos and the clip of her saying, "no jury will convict me because I am innocent."

To anyone here that still doesn't believe it has been proven that Jodi Arias is a psychopath, I say tell that to me after you watch this video- knowing exactly what she did to Travis!

What kind of a person thinks "wow... this is interesting, it's just like in the TV shows" when they are being booked into jail on 1st degree murder charges?

She is frightening, and should never, ever go free.

She is cunning- man, Travis had no idea of the psychopathic maniac he was dealing with.

Yes, as ridiculous as it may seem, the evidence against her is so overwhelming that we may see yet a fourth recounting of the events that fateful day.

It will involve dangerous sex with a knife and a gun. It will go horribly wrong, and Miss Arias will explain that, in effect, due to her great love for Travis and her own personal selflessness, she was forced to act on his behalf, and at his request, in order to hasten his 'accidental' demise.

OH WHOA .. you know I can see it .. it starts off as a game with a gun and a knife, then whoopsie she drops the camera, Travis turns on her and lunges at her, she is holding the knife and he impales himself upon it, effectively using his own body weight to stab himself in the chest with the knife she is holding, this infuriates him and they struggle for the knife, she knows if he gets a hold of it that she will be the one to die not him ... luckily for everyone she triumphed and managed to overpower her assailant and save the world from an abusive pedophile who was using the Mormon Church as a cover for his true character.

Gus was not friends with Travis, they knew each other only. It is 3am and Gus leaves on a trip to Cancun the next day....I mean look at what we know of him. It sounds like it didn't cross his mind again until JA was arrested. jmo

Oh btw, you probably are correct on the question.

This is what we are trying to figure out. Gus did know Sky and Chris but never called them to ask what happened. He never inquired until Jodi was arrested. That was 6 weeks after the supposed call. He claims to have gone to Cancun on June 10th and the body was found on June 9th. So why would he have information of interest to defense or the State? He said he can prove the call was on June 5th but offers no proof. As of July 16th he was aware Jodi was under arrest for Travis' death and he called the DA's office. He would have had his phone records at that point to show he received a call from her on June 5th at 3am. If he had them then, he would still have them. He is in a high level position in an organization and I would hope has some intelligence. He would know they would ask him to produce those records, yet he brings nothing with him during his interviews on TV. Even if he did receive a call from her on June 5th at 3am it does not mean she told him Travis was dead. He has nothing to contribute, no proof and he is sketchy on his details. Nada.

All defense wanted him for was so they could claim a mistrial because Chris Hughes contacted Gus and told him Nurmi lied to them and that JM called Nurmi a snake. Gus had nothing to offer defense because they are not using him and with good reason. The story he is telling people now would not help Jodi. jmo

"...in the meantime, smile, say cheese"

Unbelievable.

If her sociopathy wasn't glaring before , then just take a look at this. KNOWING she slaughtered him and she can outline her "few reasons" she's SMILING. SMILING.

yeah, I agree, this needs to find it's way to the jury.

Hmmm. I know of at least one jail photographer who does say that--at the 4th Street jail. At least that's where he was assigned a couple of years ago.

He's just an ordinary Narcissistic liar. Trying to be *special* through tying himself to a murderer.

He's the anti-Travis. And he knows it.

AZLawyer..Or anyone else who could help...

It seems to me the Prosecution was trying to avoid any discussion of stalking and tire slashing earlier in the trial. I'm wondering what the reasoning may have been for this. Are they trying to avoid a mistrial or opening the door to other evidence? This kind of confuses me. Thanks.

She 's going to say Travis demanded zhe take flattering photos of himself in the shower with his shirt off posing with a gun and a knfe. Since he just bought the $1500 camera, he told her to bring the gun and knife. She dropped tha camera before they got the gun/knife photos, he grabbed her by the hair and she reached down and felt the gun and just grabbed it.

But add a thousand more details to make it less concise and understandable.

I understand that JM said it was to avoid an appeal issue--for bringing in potentially irrelevant evidence not really going toward whether or not she killed him. Personally I think it would be relevant to motive (jealous ex-girlfriend), but I'm not going to second-guess him on that. You have to be careful in death penalty cases.

Now that I watched the video, I see she doesn't say that the photog said "smile and say cheese"--just that she was thinking that. Kind of a coincidence, though. Anyone know which jail she was booked into?

"I have done many things that I find shameful, but this isn't one of them."- Jodi Arias on being innocent of Travis murder.

This I believe.

Again, from TigerBalm: (ETA- this is the correct one, sorry about that)

You know you're on to something there. I was wondering how she could explain the weapons. Blame them on Travis of course! He demanded she steal that gun and bring it with her! To use as a "prop" for the "photo shoots".

It's either that or she intended to commit suicide in front of him.

Or both.

I'm not able to help by offering up any expertise on legalities, lol, but I have been wondering about this, too.

I keep going back to Lisa suspecting some psycho ex bf of hers (initially) and also Ashley T's ex husband, whom she told police may have murdered TA. They both later recanted those suspicions, but perhaps they cast enough doubt that there may have been other possibilities for the tire slashing so that the prosecution chose not to even go there.

Just a theory.......:waitasec:

"Blame Travis" seems to be a safe bet for anything she needs to explain.

Travis said, "OK, now shoot me in the head while I'm in the shower. It'll be hot. Be sure to get pictures." :jail:

Wow, I wonder what she does find "shameful". Hmmm...let's see. Nope, can't think of a one she'd cop to. Maybe not doing a great enough job dying her hair? I mean I did some some blond still peeking through the brunette. But guess that's the risk you take when you dye your hair mid road trip.

But yeah, she isn't ashamed of slaughtering Travis. She's proud of it. :furious:

BBM

There goes her self defense claim if this is her version of the story. Once he was briefly unconscious, she had plenty of time to flee and call 911 and report his attack on her and her defensive actions.

Exactly. Even *IF* Travis had attacked her, once he was no longer a threat, the reasonable thing to do is get out of there and call 911. I fully expect her to say she was scared, panicked or blacked out since she has no justifiable explanation for continuing to slaughter him and her actions afterward.
