Hi all

Want to start this post by saying.... IMO Gus is an idiot, and I don't know if he was looking for the limelight, or if once he was in it, he was enjoying it, and I don't want this to seem like I am sticking up for him BUT....
He is mistaken about when he got the call. It's just plain and simple that. When she was arrested, he probably did do the right thing by calling, especially if he really did believe that she called him that night. I also heard his interview with JC on TruTV on Thursday (? I think it was Thursday), he said the records would have shown when the call was, not that he had the records to prove it.
If he should be held accountable in anyway for her phoning him, and him not calling anyone afterwards, then what about the other people she phoned that night too? should they have called too? According to Abe, she called him the night TA was found too, and he went in spy mode, and had a feeling she was responsible (this was on his first or second time he was on Dr. Drew), did he call the police with his suspicions? why not? She also called her friend from Utah, Lisa, the one that testified for the prosecution. Should she have called the police?
I get that it's totally wrong for him to be saying that she called the night he was killed, but I happen to think it's totally irresponsible for the media to have kept going with it.... when all it took was a simple google search for me to find that Gus didn't go to Cancun until the 10th, and he remembered he was going to the Cancun the next day after she called. Shoot... you'd think that Gus could have looked at his own calendar and realized he is wrong... and she must have called on the 9th (the day Travis' body was found).
Anyway... JMO and all that jazz lol I just wish the media that did interview him would have questioned him more... before running with the story over and over and over.... he would have just faded away.
