Wasn't the call at 3:00am after Travis' body was discovered and someone told her he had been killed, which was a few days after the murder on June 4? That would make sense with him leaving on the 10th.

That said, however, I don't find him completely believable.

I wonder what was going through JA's mind waiting for her crime to be discovered. For 4 days she had to wait. Then, who would call HER and why would they even think of calling her?

How did JA find out when TA was discovered?

It makes me sick that she fell into the role of "grieving widow" too, with all her myspace/facebook nonsense. Though it was reported she was quite cheerful at his memorial. Yes, a timeline of the missing 4 days would be fascinating.

Yes, LE flew in to make the arrest and had was watching her. She was loading a rental car and her mother came over during that time.

She had boxes of books and other stuff in the car and knives were found. The gun was later found hidden by the rental car company (she hid it so well it was not found by LE). She later admits to LE that she bought a 9mm (in flores interview after her arrest)

And he dances around the question. Says he has proof of the call but has not offered it up. My guess is the DA checked him out and his records and he has nothing to offer to the case. She has already admitted killing him and all he is doing is telling the world he is not very responsible. A responsible person would have called someone, reported it and asked if they needed a statement and copy of his phone records. jmo

No, that is what he said several different times on TV. He's a nutter. Man I could have made up more accurate believable stories myself, as would any other self-respecting websleuther.

Can you imagine having two people you were more than just casually friendly with involved in a murder 4 years ago, and when the case comes to trial you're UNCLEAR as to what happened when? He's worse than an idiot because he is malicious. Bleech.

That's not how crimes are solved, that is not how anyone gets at the truth.

If someone called me at 3 am and told me someone i knew was dead I'd ask "how do you know this ?" and then I'd call the police and report what the person told me.

But Gus claims she said she was in California. Why would she say California when she was in Nevada on her way to Utah? I think Jodi called him a lot and he may have mistaken the call on the 5th with a call she also made to him on the 9th. When he speaks of her, he speaks as if he was very, very familiar with her and not just an occassional acquaintance.

Gus also asks her if she needs a ride and he claims Jodi said no, she would be renting a car. That tells me she was planning on going to the funeral and she thought that was why Gus was asking her. jmo

She had a knife to slash tires. Also, if she went downstairs to get one of Travis' knives, then that throws self defense out the window, as she could've left the house instead of picking up a knife and returning to inflict more wounds.

Well, I don't think anyone HERE has to be convinced that this was in no way SD.

However, we need to sincerely hope that the jury does not have a reasonable doubt that this was anything but murder one. I have no idea how the evidence could be spun by the defense to support SD, but I won't say that they aren't going to TRY and that it may create doubt in a few of the jurors.

How strange is it that in her written diary entry here (second to last page) she says that Travis' names for a girl include 'Hinckley' as well as Iris, Regan, or Megan? I mean Hinckley?? I don't know about you guys but the instant I hear that name I just think crazy unrequited love stalker .. funny that.

Lots of weird Freudian slips around Jodi Arias .. if you read between the lines of what she says and look at things metaphorically you can actually start to read her.

Why would you call the police and report it? What would be suspicious about it to you? While I think Gus is a media .... I also believe that if he did receive such a call it would not have raised any flags until JA was arrested.

Exactly. Also since JA has admitted to killing Travis, it doesn't matter if or when she called him reporting Travis's death.....unlike someone claiming they had nothing to do with the murder doing so before the body was discovered.

I never thought of her maybe pretending she was gone. I was wondering about everyone's thoughts on the photos. I do so much photography, I can't envision he does not see her through all the photo taking, some looking right at her, where was she hidden that he does not see her and can't hear the camera sound click after each photo. (his shower water could muffle a bit) And they did indicate she took them without flash, that was very interesting to me, no flash is why they have the burnt orange/yellow appearance. the tile would be bright white as they showed Flash photos of the bathroom and its very clear. And it does puzzle me if she wanted to take these great photos and she knows anything about photography, she can give them a sepia effect after, or any color variation, but my guess is she would want to start with the clearest photo first.. which would be maybe with flash? Because they are not good, and not really clear, and now I see they are taken with no flash. Was that to hide the fact she was there and taking them?

I think he had to know she was taking them. The photos were only a ruse to be in close physical proximity to him. If she were secretly taking them, she would want to keep them. But she deleted them. The photos meant nothing to her. They were just an excuse to get close to Travis while he was confined in the shower stall.

My first question would be how he died considering his age. But even if Jodi had told me it was murder I wouldn't think to contact authorities unless I had some information pertinent to the case.

Now...if she said she'd committed the murder, as if, I'd be all over that. But we know Jodi likes to build the suspense before she (partially) admits her actions.
