I've read so much about this trial it's becoming increasingly more difficult to remember what has been covered in the actual trial. Were the "slashed tires" incidents actually entered as evidence? Does the jury know about these incidents?

I think they were ruled out, but during JA's defense testimony she made a comment about TA being tired of her antics or something like that. I think that means the JM can ask her what those antics were. I don't know if he can ask her specifically if she slashed TA's tires or not.

AZ would know for sure.

Defense brought it in in their opening statement. Go figure. lol

I am still amazed at her ability to question every detail to avoid the question being asked...nice trick, not working. Classic stuff though.

I somehow missed that he said that he did not like that picture. I was multitasking I missed it! Thank you for putting it up again. perhaps we can all send that to Nancy Grace and others that are asking for discrepancies right now.

Did she say that he did not like that last picture of himself in trial or in her interview with Det. Flores?

I think they knew, but what can they do? There's no way to get it excluded.

It's not like they could deny it was Jodi who wrote those msgs. Jodi has been the biggest stumbling block for her defense team. It's sad because I'm sure they are good people but this case makes them look totally incompetent.

Or perhaps Juan plans on bringing in a mystery witness and plans to call in Matt's roommate and needed Jodi to first acknowledge he was there (?)

oooh good call. I have a feeling the 3rd person in the room will not only attest to her hair being blonde, but to the fact she had sex with the ex.~snorts~

JA is soooooo toast!:great:

I'm still convinced the penis pictures were of JA's ex darryl.
Perhaps Juantastic will enlighten us on that possible fact..

ooooh can't wait!

I just couldn't imagine having to look at that on the big screen tv they got. It has to be a 70" tv.

My thought was her attny's were verifying what they knew of the evidence. Like making sure there wasn't any extra wording they didn't know about. Thats why it was taking so long.

My guess is they knew all about it and didn't want a part of it because their client was calling set up by guards to frame her, she knew nothing about it. Thats her story and she is evidently sticking to it. They had nothing to work with at all to put a spin on the magazine/witness tampering stuff.

Kelly

Her attorneys knew about the magazines and were hoping (dumb) they wouldn't be used.

Now the Journal is another matter. I heard on NG or JVM or somewhere:waitasec:that her attorneys should have been the ones to bring up the "nothing new happened here" in her journal entry and did a preemptive strike. But they didn't. SCORE!!!

I just figured he was stalling to interrupt the flow of the cross examination. I could be wrong, but I don't know how the defense would not know about this. Of course, you never know when you have a client who is lying to you.

I have been thinking that they had to know, except then the logical thing would have been for Nurmi to bring it up on direct, with some bull***** explanation from Jodi. So the fact that they didn't . . . :waitasec:

That's what I wondered, they did look puzzled, they went through each page of it. My thought is they knew about them but really never looked at them, maybe didn't realize what was in them until yesterday. I would have looked and acted casual about it because I think they drew more attention to them by taking so long to look them over...

Nurmi may have skimmed right over them because there is nothing in them about sex. :jail: jmo

Who did they say that other person was? Is he on the witness list? If he isn't, can the State bring him in now?

I'm sure that's not lost on the jury.

I know I'm bad for saying this but... I kind of enjoyed seeing the frantic look on Willmott and Nurmi's faces when those messages in the magazine were revealed in open court.

And I don't understand how they were allowed in, they are cropped to the area only, not showing the man so you can authenticate who the body part really belonged to. How did they know other than her word which is not good...???

I did NOT see them looking in the spine margins. They were flipping pages looking at the content. I honestly don't think they new about it. Otherwise, like AZlawyer said, they would have acted like it was no big deal. I feel they would have prepped her with a "mm lied to my attorneys, or made a mistake, so what? Sweet little jodi was only trying to straighten things out."

On its face it isn't that damning... they could have handled this one. I think Jodi decided to keep this to herself. Big mistake, missy. That's why lawyers GET PAID!

As a secret, or as a "I didn't write that" it is VERY damning. Imo

Maybe they didn't want to bring it up because they have Matt on as a defence witness? So, they either would have brought it up with him (to discount it's actual meaning) or they would have tried not to bring it up at all. I don't believe JM could have brought it up with Matt, because the evidence is tied to her and not him. Different story when she's up on the stand?

I know, it was really big too. It could have been mine for all I know.
