They DID? What did they say about the slashed tires?

Just that they would hear accusations that Jodi slashed his tires from the prosecution. And I think the only one to mention the tires was Mimi and she was the defense witness. jmo

Maybe, she did not think of anything else because she had no skills and no education. She had quit high school. We all know that photography was not her specialty. I think she had no goals in life pertaining to earning a living.

Although she is not physically ugly, she is not model material either.

When she takes those glasses off she is pretty, imo. I think she is smart, and she seems like she has no problem getting jobs. She's wasted her life completely now, how stupid. For what a huge tantrum? IMO she is mentally ill. Even now, she needs to stop this nonsense tell the truth and pay her dues, but they never do. I wonder where and how her life took such a turn? Someone up above called her a grifter, can't say I see her that way, as she did work an awful lot of jobs. I don't think I'll ever forget how she wore out her bottom end, that was disgusting.

Maybe they didn't want to bring it up because they have Matt on as a defence witness? So, they either would have brought it up with him (to discount it's actual meaning) or they would have tried not to bring it up at all. I don't believe JM could have brought it up with Matt, because the evidence is tied to her and not him. Different story when she's up on the stand?

I'm confused about this. Matt supposedly told something to Jodi's attorney that was directly the opposite of what she'd been saying for a long time. She was telling Matt to talk to her before he speaks to JM? Or to her attorney? Which one or do we know?

If JM wanted to talk to Matt about the incident, why couldn't he? And if Matt lawyers up, couldn't they take him before a grand jury and question him under oath? If AZ uses grand juries like Texas does, that is.

I have been thinking that they had to know, except then the logical thing would have been for Nurmi to bring it up on direct, with some bull***** explanation from Jodi. So the fact that they didn't . . . :waitasec:

Maybe they didn't know, or maybe they knew but thought the State hadn't figured it out. I was just looking at some old discussions, and came across court minutes dealing with an "attempted interrogation" of Matt McCartney:

http://www.courtminutes.maricopa.gov/docs/Criminal/052011/m4744268.pdf

Looks like the State wanted to "interrogate" Matt but was unable to for whatever reason. And the defense was asking for whatever the State had in relation to its attempted interrogation of Matt.

Are you picking on me? Please stop. It makes my brain scramble when people pick on me. I just might forget what I did yesterday.

OT: I lived in Bullhead City, AZ for many years. It has the distinction of being one of the hottest places in AZ. There is a place in Death Valley, CA called Hell. I remember a headline in the Arizona Republic that said, "Bullhead City Hotter than Hell!" It was 128 degrees. (Patio thermometers peg out at 120 degrees.) But your right, the low humidity makes it more bearable. A popular T-shirt for tourists showed two skeletons sweating in the sun and said, "But it's a dry heat!"

My hubby, who was a contractor, would leave for work at 4 a.m. and it would be 104. We retired to cool Oregon.

But wouldn't that be why restaurants would be busy in August? Who on earth would want to cook at home in that heat? :what:

Awesome, maybe Matt needs to spend a little time in the slammer.

I just couldn't imagine having to look at that on the big screen tv they got. It has to be a 70" tv.

You've got me laughing with tears streaming now. But, FYI, it's not so impressive on a 13" MacBook Air. :floorlaugh:

Bless you. I just asked about this! Can you not grand jury people out there? Could the problem here be that whatever he said, he said it to her lawyer, so the state can't know what it was? It's bugging me that I don't understand this.

I thought she may have had a three-some with them.

No, no, I think we've all agreed that to Jodi, "sexually monogamous" means not doing threesomes. Of course, she's lied about everything else. . . :what:

The only thing I can think of is that she didn't tell her attorneys, and her attorneys somehow saw the magazines on the exhibit list but never figured out why they were on there? :waitasec:

What I'd love to know is if the jail informed either the prosecution or the defense about the messages. How could the magazines leave jailhouse possession and end up as evidence without the defense knowing why they were confiscated?

Now, aside from the photos that might actually be "Steely" LOL ok not funny... The magazine writing...my thought is if they really knew it was written in there they would be ready to bring on some hand writing analysis expert to say anyone could have written it.. Especially if the chain of custody was broken and they did go to the lady that visited Jodi.

Unless they never got that far and the Deputy stopped them and the jail discovered it?

I would think if they left Jodi's hands, then got handed off to a member of the public there would be some seed of doubt that she was even the one that wrote in them (unless the info is just too tied into what she was doing)

IMO the jail discovered it and could possibly been one of the reasons this Ann Campbell removed herself from JA's case?
also, both DT attorneys gave surprising looks but wasn't there a 'hearing' on this issue before on this issue? Or.. :waitasec:
