Nancy Grace just played a segment of JA's testimony where she says

(paraphrased)
I gave them ( law enforcement) a scenario that has me there and that matches forensics but where I wouldn't be responsible for it.

Then Nancy said she is confessing to what she is doing right now, that's what she is doing right now.

IDK if she'd be so bold to think of the in-your-face confession but I do think that's what she is doing still, creating a BS story that matches close enough to forensics. But who knows, she's pretty arrogant and twisted so maybe she did think about it matching both situations and said it anyway.

Note: the glare from the projector made it difficult to capture the images so not the best quality...

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I find it strange that JA writes everything in the present tense until she starts talking about Travis and then uses the past tense. "where we explored every naught fantasy we could conjure up in our fruitful imaginations that we haven't already fulfilled w/ one another."

This may have been discussed already but the threads move so fast and I'm still trying to catch up, so sorry!!

I was just wondering if there was a discussion about the time that JA said she had started working at PF Changs (I think it was that place) and they wanted her social security card and she had it in a box at Travis' house. Was that the time she did the 'peeping' and then confronted him later about kissing the girl and all the bra hooking escapades? Since when does any employer ask you to produce your actual CARD itself, and not just your number? I mean, how RIDICULOUS !! Am I wrong? My SS card is in a little box, too, but it's been in that box since I got it in like, 1975 and hasn't seen the light of day since.

Maybe because its AZ and they have lots of illegals?

Why do I have the awful "Casey Anthony trial" feeling that the jurors are going to blow it?

And I missed the coded magazine notes...What was she trying to get across?

The state moved to exclude the letters as evidence a year and a half ago. In the middle of the evidentiary hearing, Jodi's attorneys suddenly withdrew their objection to the motion and allowed the letters to be excluded.

Almost as if they knew there was some problem with them... :waitasec:

And before they withdrew their objection, they withdrew as counsel -- and the hearing on their motion to withdraw was sealed, leading me to believe that her attorneys knew that Jodi intended to introduce forged letters and offer false testimony.

When Jodi proceeded without attorneys, I believe that she did try to introduce these forged letters, and perhaps the false testimony of Matt McCartney. She quickly realized she was in over her head -- and she wanted her attorneys back, but I'm sure it was with the understanding that they would not offer the forged and false testimony and evidence. The first thing they did when they were reinstated was to withdraw their opposition to the State's motion to exclude the forged letters.

I think this is an EXCEPTIONAL point. And I hope Juan intends to challenge the expert witness with her own words. She doesnt fit the mold of battered woman because by her own testimony she new she could leave at ANY TIME.

That means at the time of Travis's death too - she is saying she knew she could have walked away then too - but doing so would have prevented her from carrying out her premeditated murder.

I guess in jail she has not been able to follow the trial in Florida which shows once you retreat, if you then want to go back you are the aggressor!

LOL...When Jodi was saying, or excuse me, let me paraphrase this, Jodi saying that the month of August was a slow month, I thought that is a crock of..Chit...

people dont suddenly stop eating or going out to eat..

heck, I put in my years many many moons ago as a waitress..the summer months were good tips, and always busy for me..

Jodi is such a liar..jmo

Here in Mesa we have a lot of snowbirds during the Winter and restaurants are packed. After they head back north business drops off . August is a slow month but that doesn't mean she couldn't find a job if she really wanted one.

Please know I'm in no way defending her, just wanted to clear up that Summer is our slow season Winter is our busy season. :)

Every state is different, but usually when it's such a brutal crime bail gets denied or set so high that the everyday person can't pay it. Like the Blade Runner whose bail was set at 100K, so things are different in South Africa.

Not familiar with AZ or what occurred years ago when JA was first arrested and charged,. However, normally when one is charged with first-degree murder and the DP is being sought, isn't it normally "no bail"....period? I can't recall a case where the DP was on the table and the defendant out on bail.

Yes, the whole PF Chang's and social security card tale was the lead-in to the peeping on Travis and a girl making out. Obviously, that was a lie.

I used to drink the Starbucks Strawberry Frappe's 2-3 times a week, but haven't for about a year now, not since they released a statement saying they use cochineal extract to enhance the coloring.

It can be used as a form of id to fulfill the requirements of an i-9, or at least it could about 15yrs ago when I used to have to deal with such things daily.

edited to add: I don't see why she would need it until she was actually hired. I don't remember if it was just an interview or she'd already been offered the job.

I wish she would get the chair and her hideous new bangs would sizzle on judgement day. Just saying.

I believe those who receive the electric chair have heads shaved first. At least that is my recollection from Florida.

:)

She admitted to killing him. There is a cause of death, there was plenty of evidence found, she will do time it's just will it be second, first or DP.

Jodi is an accomplished and practiced stalker. How many people are thanking their lucky stars she is behind bars? Men or women. Whatever Jodi thought she wanted she'd go to any lengths to acquire.
