New person here but throwing myself in at the deep end.

Have been following the trial and decided today to watch the last part of day 21 where JM is talking to JA about Matthew McCartney.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but he makes her reiterate 3 times where MM lived. "Oregon".
I thought this was very very clever. He sort of digressed after getting her to talk about the face off with Bianca over Matthew and started talking about how many restaurants her parents owned and how idyllic her childhood was up to the age of 10. Then suddenly he veers straight into asking again about where Matthew lived. Then asked her to repeat it again.

Martinez is a hero!

I keep wondering about that because it does seem that they have the exif data for those photos allegedly from May. Maybe they can be shown to have had the exif edited? She would probably know how to do it.

It's not the exif data -- it's the file data information from the media card or hard drive that she had it stored on. She could have easily transferred the picture from one storage device to another.

Her hair looks blond to me, although Nurmi describes it as brown. He asks if her hair was similar when she rented the car, and she says yes.
Nurmi asks if she changed her hair color from that pic above until she was at Travis' June 4, and she says she died it brown while she was in Mesa and died it darker brown later, but doesn't say when:

She later testifies that she dyed it brown on March 20, 2008, even though Ryan first met her in April 2008 and it was blond:

So it was blond in Redding, auburn brown when she was in Pasadena, but she didn't stop to dye it?

On murder day, June 4, 2008, her hair was clearly dark brown, with no blond highlights --but she thought she had deleted that evidence.

Here's a pic of her mugshot, a little more than a month after killing Travis. This is the picture that the car rental guy ID'd her from but said that her hair was different when she rented the car -- it was blond at that time.

She was blond when she met Ryan in April 2008, She was blond when she rented the car on June 2, 2008, and she was brunette when she arrived at Travis' on June 4, 2008, and she was brunette when she met Ryan on June 5, 2008

CONCLUSION: She died her hair darker brown after she rented the car on June 2, 2008 but before she arrived at Travis' house on June 4, 2008. There is no other way to make sense of this.

Not to mention the fact that the picture identified as being taken on May 15, 2008 was likely taken in 2007 as it appears to be taken at the same time as this picture in Jodi's myspace album that was last edited in February 2007:

Her mugshot photo still CREEPS me out. Who smiles like that while being booked for CAPITAL MURDER??????

I hope they keep showing the jury that photo. No way a reasonable rational being would look like that if they were being FALSLY accused of murder.

moo she will continue to be flustered. jm may be the only person that is totally prepared for ja. i do not think in her life she has come across anyone that she has not controlled. parents, boyfriends, lawyers all hanging on her words. no jm has her number and he will dial it again and again i would think his experts have told him how to deal with her and it seems to be working. smiling, arrogant, making faces she is playing into jm hand. :moo:

Even when caught in inconsistency as she was in the timeline of Jan 21 2008 she NEVER lost her composure and indeed declared that her account of the phone calls remains very much in tact.
There were several occasions that JM was so twisted up with double double negative questions he found it hard to repeat the question when asked to so by the judge.

JA has absolutely NO FEAR of JM.
JA is a master liar and can do it on the fly. She also is very practiced in lying about a lie and then lying about the lie told about the lie. It is remarkable to witness this kind of performance.

Hair is a moot issue for me. I'd love it if they had the person that dyed it .....only if she/he remembers her droning on and on and on about going to Cancun with her boyfriend. THAT would be cool.

I'm already convinced she dyed it on the road as part of premeditation and I'd bet the jury is too.

I'd just like motive, not that it's needed... Just interesting.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has cleared out my Monday duties and stocked up on things to nibble on in preparation for more of JMs cross!! I even went in to school today for 5 hours to practice/study for a practical exam just to give me a free Monday! Kind of pathetic.. I appreciate and often am forced to watch recordings on YouTube but there is something so mesmerizing about watching it live.
