have you read minor4th transcription of her version of the murder? it is comical!

I agree there is no shutting up Ms Arias.

I cannot recall for the life of me where she said this (last day of testimony?) but that her story would fit the forensics? Omgosh it does everything BUT fit the forensic evidence!

This was a real jaw dropper. She was going to fashion her story to fit the evidence in a way that she wouldn't be responsible for it????

I believe that's what she said, pretty close. I thought "isn't that what you're doing right now?"

I could NOT believe she said that.

He was not asked by either side, so it is really a mystery now. I have to believe that if her hair was brown both times, the defense would have asked him this -- he was their witness after all.

It makes sense that Juan would not have asked him about it during his cross examination because Jodi had not yet testified that she didn't dye her hair for murder prep. I think Darryl has the info, and Juan will bring this out on rebuttal. (Hoping)

wouldn't DB have been asked about JA's hair color(s) in depositions that would be available to both parties?

I would be astounded if both sides were not armed with this info.

I found it interesting that in the morning session of her cross, JM asked a question and referred to her killing TA. She responded yes to the question and her face fell. After lunch, JM posed a question that included the road trip to her killing TA, and she "could not answer the question the way it was phrased". I think the defense attorneys may have said something to her during the lunch recess. Obvious distintion

I don't know the answer to that. If she had pleaded guilty, I don't know if they would have a sentencing hearing -- but I assume so, and I believe that death penalty would still be available.

I have a lawyer question and the thread is gone....

Would it have been possible for Nurmi to have rested after the prosecutions CIC?

oops, I though KCL was wondering whether Darryl was asked about what Jodi returned to his house for, not her hair color at the time. My bad!

She can be coached til the cows come home but she still has her personality disorder to deal with and which will be guiding her behavior.

It won't let her continue to pull off the victimhood posture with who she sees as a worthy opponent. She will stand up to JM just as she pushed back with Travis. (Travis' friend Aaron actually told us that the other night, that he witnessed this behavior).

Sure they likely will coach her to be more meek and wimpy but Jodi will consider this the Jodi show and do it the Jodi way. I mean she knows better than anyone including her own attorneys don'tcha know?

BBM

She couldn't even keep up her 'meek' charade under direct by her own attorney. She was obstinate and stubborn and defiant towards him as well. And he is trying to keep her off Death Row.

More evidence of her scheming ways,

JM: well, you were a practising Mormon weren't you?

JA: yes... sort of.

She thinks she's the smartest one in the room ....lol

Well the parents managed to bring up 3 other kids who seem to be fairly normal - not murderers anyway.

JA is just a freak of nature - a 12 sigma deviation from the norm.

I'm not faulting the parents for JA's murderous act, I am just saying that dishonesty often has deep roots that go back into childhood...as can damage to compassion and empathy. There's a whole lotta crazy in the world that doesn't necessarily have a criminal record....

Yes, I believe that death penalty would still be available as a sentence even if she plead guilty, but it just seems (to me a total non-expert,) like they never give the DP to people who plead guilty.

I am praying that no one stops in for an unexpected visit,my SIL sometimes does, that's bad,I know!

My daughter's think I'm obsessed over this trial. When they call..I'm like I am watching the trial! When they come home I have Live stream on the computer and In session on the TV. So Thurs. night they came in with a big box for me, and said UPS just delivered this. I opened it up and It was orange scrubbs, (my daughter's a vet tech) and a pair of spiderman underware!! and the letter said :

Arizona State Pen
Dear Debbie,
Thank you for for watching me today, yesterday, and every minute, every second, and every hour of everyday. I sent you a pair of my jailhouse jumpsuits, and the famous spiderman underware.
Didn't I look pretty today?
See you Monday!!!

Love Jodi

Yes, whatever he has to say about it - it will not be a surprise to either side.

Sending out a thanks to whomever it was who suggested to change the "page view" to 100 posts instead of the default 25. It's definitely not as overwhelming to see 4 pages of posts instead of 20 when you need to catch up!

Wow I just saw something interesting.

Watching the afternoon session from Thursday on Vinnie Politan and before the jury comes in she's sitting there cocky on the stand and she makes this gesture we've NEVER seen before. Know how she always pulls her hair away from her face gently and slowly with her creepy hands?

Well in this instance she jerks her head sideways as if to throw her hair back but she doesn't need to. It's more like a gesture of "bring it on".

If anyone has that youtube available from the afternoon session before the jury comes in I can show you what I mean. It's pretty interesting. Of course out of the presence of the jury but in the sites of JM.

You are probably using the topics header. Look at the top and move over 1 to stickies (I just looked at my iPhone).
