We have the same type shower as TA's, but my DH won't even let me approach him on the subject - LOL. He thinks I'm loopy enough about this case as it it -- especially when he comes home from work and asks "how was your day" and I go into a complete synopsis of the testimony of the day.

He went through the same thing with the Westerfield, Peterson, Anthony, Gabrial Johnson cases as well. And now this one. He no dummy!

Speaking of which - did all you WS'ers get all your chores done for tomorrow? I have one load of laundry left, did all the shopping, cleaned the house. All I have to do tomorrow is shower, make beds - but dinner is sorted

Jodi calls Ryan Burns at 1000pm on June 3rd and tells him she is heading to his house. He knew she was going to visit a friend whose baby was just born in LA [she never visited this friend] and from there she was going to come and see Ryan.



JM: Are you familiar with how to get from LA area to Salt Lake City, Utah area?

RB: Yes it's I-15 the whole way


June 3rd she calls him at 9 or 10 at night. She was 12 hours from his house at this point. So he expected her at 12 or 1pm the next day, June 4th, if she stopped to sleep for a couple of hours. He doesn't hear from her all day on June 4th and he is concerned.



Jodi finally calls Ryan around 1030pm on June 4th. She tells him she took the wrong freeway, drove the wrong direction, fell asleep, her phone was dead all day. She told him she bought another charger at a gas station. She told him she didn't know where she was. It took her another 12 hours to get to his house, again, longer than expected. She arrived the next morning, June 5th, around 10 or 11am. It was almost exactly 24 hours after he was originally expecting her.


As we know, instead of going to Ryan's house the night of June 3rd, she headed to Travis house in Arizona, arriving at 4am.

So, why the set up of Ryan to expect her on June 4th?

JM was paying close attention to this testimony from Ryan Burns. I believe it will be part of his argument for premeditation.

I have had a hard time following this case.

I've sleuthed some truly heinous crimes both on WS and off, including crimes against children, but there's just something about this one that makes me physically ill, so I haven't really joined in the threads..

I did watch Jodi's testimony though. I listened to her words and speech patterns. I watched her face for micro-expressions, her body language. And by the end of it, I thought to myself: "She is enjoying reliving the crime and her control over the victim, every moment she's on the stand."

Her demeanour also gives away that she is enjoying the cat and mouse of the trial. I think she is convinced she can outwit the prosecution, that she is somehow one step ahead even though her lies are being exposed one by one. Pure sociopathy.

I have no doubt in my mind she was capable of this murder, both physically and mentally.

I have it on in the background. Loved Adelle, and am happy for Les Mis (won't give anything away here). The musical scores are my favourite. My son is 2nd chair French Horn in a Les Mis reproduction in March, and I know I will be crying my eyes out.

So, only my second day and I haven't read up on everything, but was curious as to the duct tape. I believe a piece was found in the laundry maybe? The picture of Travis giving the peace sign you can make out a grey band around his bicep and in the shower pic where he is clasping his hands, you can see SOMETHING had been there. There is some red discoloration.

Was this discussed by the prosecution? Was the sticky side of the tape analyzed for any skin cells or DNA?

Did'nt Arias and Travis talk on the phone while she was driving to his home on June 4 2008?

If true, then TA could've told her the roomates schedules that day

I also think Arias did such a pizz poor job of clean up of murder scene because she realized roommate Zack was supposed to be home soon and the whole murder/clean up was soooo out of control crazy she lost track of time

Yes. There's one right by my house. I'd be surprised if this case is on their radar other than possibly responding to a subpoena.

One down the road here too. I'm curious why JM isn't whipping out time cards when asking when she checked in/checked out? That kinda bothered me the other day, as surely someone knows what time she arrived at work (or at least time stamped) and when she left.

I don't about duct tape but Jodi testified he wore some caloric calculator thing on his upper arm.

Could have stood on the toilet and shot him over the curtain/or top after she drug him back?

Maybe the direction TA faces (toward the back wall) in the shower when he was found is not how he was facing when JA first slumped him back in the shower. Meaning, he could have been facing toward the door at first, she shot him in the head, and then cleaned him off, and in the process could have moved his head. We will probably never know--but in trying to consider all possible scenarios about who was positioned where when the gunshot happened my brain keeps wanting to rest on he was shot last as he sat slumped in the shower. And with trajectory considered, I come to the conclusion that he was facing differently at the time of the shot than he was in photo. This is all JMO of course.

I don't think the duct tape has been mentioned in court. The DA did question JA about a device TA supposedly wore to help his diet/health kick, which somewhat matched the color.

Personally what's on TA's arm looks more like duct tape to me. There was what appeared to be duct tape, in a crime scene photo, on the floor in the laundry area.

Does anyone know if the duct tape was mentioned during the prosecution's CIC? TIA

hmmm..has anyone ever noticed the time stamp here in this shower pic?...its time stamped at 1:27pm..then if you notice the nude pics of both she and Travis on his bed are time stamped BEGINNING at 1:44pm..

so, how exactly could it be that all these photos of Travis in the shower are TAKEN PRIOR TO the nude pics on bed meaning the shower time precedes the nude on the bed pics...that doesn't make sense ..have y'all already discussed this strange factor?..probably something simple I'm just missing, tho..

Look at the gestures he is making with his hands. Is that a signal?

Thanks so that would be why these particular pics are time stamped prior to nude, bed pics.. Does anyone know what the time stamps are on the actual LAST PHOTOS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE MURDER?

Only thing is, you're supposed to wear it on your left arm. It's not as accurate on the right side.
