where are we going to be able to watch the trial on monday, HLN or youtube? i'm really going to miss In Session, the front row seat to justice. I luv all the commentators, jean c, beth k, mike b, and more.

What's happening to In Session?

Now on InSession they showed a picture of a shark and the Jaws Theme music. They were on the phone with some big wig defense attorney in Chicago. He said that he was tweeting to Nurmi to stand up and yell objection. They he let JM creme Jodi. He said he would have had no voice today. And if he was her attorney he would be at the jail all weekend until court start on Monday, coaching her on every detail.

Well if this was Drew Petersons atty then I would disregard lol

no, then the jurors......

Well, the remaining DT witnesses first, then Juan's rebuttal which will NOT include Arias, THEN the jury.

Was it ever established how long it had been since she was at Travis's house?

  • #465
Yes...What's that saying? "A 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 in bed and a lady in the street"...Or something like that.

She realized she was just a vagina to him - I don't recall who first said this but "men don't marry vaginas, they marry virtue".

Re: hair on Travis' legs.... merely look at the autopsy photo of his legs and you will see he has hair on his legs thus the shower picture is hair and not blood running down his leg.

I thought odd response to this -During afternoon testimony yesterday, Juan reminded Jodi that conveniently there were no witnesses with regard to her stay or visit to Arizona/Mesa, and she quickly disagreed. IIRC, or close anyway, she replied -- Yes, there would have been surveillance cameras, or footage-- or something like that. My point, she was so quick to indicate surveillance cameras. I am wondering if this could be because this is something she had given aforethought to, so more reason to color hair. Or, she was fishing to see if Juan might take the bait and agree. I am wondering if she is wondering if there is possibly surveillance footage the State may have, or maybe it was entered into evidence and she was reminding Juan.

I remember Arias stating at one point "There is no evidence I was ever in AZ", but that may have been in her interview with Flores??
Can't remember where I heard it.
That statement right there told me wanted to make sure BEFORE her trip, that she did not want any evidence left there.
She sure messed up on THAT one.

ETA - this was regarding the car, I believe.

I cannot get the investigative reports to open for some reason....anyone remember who last saw TA alive beside JA, and when that was? Did any of the roommates see him on that day?

  • #469
Well, the remaining DT witnesses first, then Juan's rebuttal which will NOT include Arias, THEN the jury.

No, after the witness has been questioned by both sides then the jury asks their questions, if any.

OT: Does anyone remember if the jury was instructed to consider lesser charges in the FCA trial? IIRC, it was a DP case. Was that the only option? TIA

Wouldn't a session with a Hypnotist straighten out all arias' fog? wouldn't that give answers needed? get into the subconscious a bit and pull out the truth? would findings be admissable in court? I am so new to the 'trial watch' audience as I have never been interested in live trials before and so I may be way off because of not understanding legal procedures.

Can anyone answer this for me?

Will the jury get some sort of admonition (might not be proper word for this example, but best I got) that if they cannot definitely answer EXACTLY what happened, with very specific evidence, that they cannot find her guilty?

I think she shot him after using the knife...but there is enough doubt that if THIS specific question - did she shoot him or stab him first - is what I have to hang death, I am not sure I could do it.

I am very interested to know what exactly the jury rules will be. TIA, if anyone knows

I mean the juror questions....they should come before she takes a seat, no??

Just go to www.google or what ever search you like and type in "Jodi Arias trial live," and you will find several options. I think by watching it on line rather than on TV you will see more of the actual trial = No talking heads or commercials to interrupt just when an important trial moment happens. Try it I think you'll like it:seeya:

Re: BK saying no recross... Did she say why? And how could she possibly know that?

Prosecution doesn't get recross. Jodi is not their witness.

Goes like this:

Defense witness has direct and prosecution gets cross and then defense gets redirect.

Prosecution witness has direct and defense has cross and prosecution gets redirect.

Prosecution also has a rebuttal case at end and then closing.

i think the Judge ruled that the order of the events that contributed to Travis' death, shot first or last, would not factor into their decision..

?

No, there will be no such admonition.

after I made my post, I went back and looked at the pics and I make no sense...LOL....could it be that he wasn't going to knock the camera out of her hand, but grab the camera....or could it be that he had no clue it was his camera since he had no idea she was even there?
pic 5:29:12 he sees or hears something (no flash)
pic 5:29:20 he knows for sure it is her, pic taken with flash or diff setting
I think that this is when the stab to the heart happened
pic 5:30:30 he slumps down in the shower from stab wound, still flash is used
less than one minute later at 5:31:14 ceiling pic taken....thinking that by that time TA is up on his feet and after her or just trying to get away, stumbles to the sink etc......she points the gun at him making him get down on the floor...stabbing in the back begins as he is trying to crawl away down the hall, then the throat :banghead:

also, I am wondering if the shower door slams back shut when open....anyone have this kind of shower where the door would shut on it's own?

But in the first three pics you reference, the glass door is closed - she is on the other side. How can she have stabbed him through the closed glass door by pic #3 on your list?

Also, under your assumption (and Im not refuting you really, your guess is as good as mine, I'm just genuinely stumped here) under your assumption, she at that point has a knife in one hand and a camera in the other - what third arm does she produce to open the shower door?

They do get recross you just rarely see it...BK also said this. ETA they could actually go back and forth a couple times if new things are brought out.

Wouldnt it be hard for her to drag a body of 180 lbs of dead weight all by herself?

If I did not know for sure she DID indeed accomplish it by herself, Arias getting Travis' dead body IN the shower would have made me question if she accomplished this alone.
That was quite a feat - but she DID do it, so there we are.

RIP sweet Travis
