Arias also claimed that she was unaware of the Hoover Dam checkpoint. I call BS on that as well, as the police at the checkpoint most certainly have noticed an upside down California license plate with no front plate. Most likely, she flipped the back plate, put the front plate back on, and after the checkpoint, turned the back plate upside down again. JM should have called her out on the front license plate screws ...
Anyone know if the front license plate was on the rental when she was stopped in Utah ?
I'd also wager that there was a reason for killing Travis around 5:30 PM - time to clean up before the roomies got home and the sun in Arizona set that day around 7:30 PM, giving Arias time to burn and dispose of the evidence under cover of darkness before hitting the Hoover Dam checkpoint.
If she had killed him at 2:30, she would have had to dispose of evidence in the daylight.
