I agree with those who think that Jodi didn't have an invite from Travis for her ill-fated visit. The incredible anger in his text messages on May 26th would not have subsided and I don't believe he would have joked with her about going to Utah instead of Arizona and guilted her into visiting him, as she claims. On June 2, while she was still in Yreka she barraged him with phone calls - they are short enough that they are probably her leaving voice mails or just hanging up - and then he does call her back at 3AM and they have two calls lasting about 18 minutes and 41 minutes. A few minutes after that Jodi calls Travis and they speak for about 3 minutes. We know she had a propensity for hanging up on him per one of his texts, so I am surmising that is what was going on here - and perhaps vice versa. Jodi was on the road 90 minutes later.
None of the calls after that last more than a few minutes and I believe the Verizon guy testified that many of these were sent directly to voice mail. There's no way Travis was happy and excited about a visit from Jodi.
Her testimony is so jarring because you can tell there is a bit of truth in everything she says, but it is wrapped in lies. Jodi describing her arrival at Travis' on June 4:
"He had his back to me and he was on his laptop watching music videos or something on YouTube," said Arias. "I thought he looked cute sitting there at the computer and he was watching really dumb videos
so, I just stood at the doorway looking at him for a minute."

I'm sure that is exactly what happened - but I am equally sure that she snuck in and surprised Travis.
