Juan was doing that throughout the testimony today and every time Jodi fell right for it. And each time it happened it showed how selective her memory loss is. And after each time it looked like Jodi would have made a mental note not to fall into that trap again but Juan lulled her back to a false sense of security and got her to fall again! IMO I witnessed sheer artistry from the prosecution.

My power went out twice during this morning's session, and thankfully came back on after only a few minutes, but I was not a happy sleuther! Then it happened AGAIN about twenty minutes ago. My panic/anxiety/naughty word level is rising steadily.

I'm blaming JA, and will be sure to send her attorneys a bill for undue stress and hardship.

Just as jevipo74 noted, Arias stumbled badly when cross examined on her reason for heading out to Burns'. It was an alibi & it had been added to her premeditation for that very reason, from the drafting of the crime in Yreka. Even without Martinez's pointed question, she was heading right into that admission, that trap, because it was the truth.
And after all, she rejoindered yesterday that she was "single". She therefore knew only too well that Travis Alexander was very dead. She also veered into saying yesterday that destination-Travis was the whole reason for her travel & seemed unaware that she had made that slip.

Just a thought.... maybe JA was telling the truth when she said she & Ryan weren't grinding... we've learned that that's not her preferred style of sexual intercourse. You know... the whole 'spinning me around'. She was adamant that he was NOT around her va-jay and her track record shows she keeps 3 doors open for business. Just saying, as a matter of fact.

i just thought she wanted the whole thing to sound as non-sexual as she possibly could. she didn't want the jurors to think she could kill the love of her life and then go dry hump another dude several hours later. kissing? ok. that's maybe just romantic. but the other stuff makes her sound.......icky. and we know how she values her reputation!!

Jurors go by facts and dont read tealeaves. There are no facts in evidence that Travis ever own a firearm of any kind.
