Juan SORTA said you didn't want anything bad to come out about Travis, but now you're trashing him??? I hope he hammers on that some more.
It is so disgusting that she is murdering his reputation to get out of the consequences of murdering his body.

How can you believe anything a liar says?

The Jury will realize these stories, lying once, and lying twice, and lying once again--and completely throw out her testimony.

I still don't understand why the DT put her on the stand.

Exactly!!!!!

and another thing I caught.

This was the first time she said she got off RB - today she said she had fallen asleep on him and got off of him....

Neither RB or JA said ANYTHING previously about her falling asleep ON him. She said when Nurmi asked her that they were on the lovesac and had fallen asleep. Not once before did she say she feel asleep ON him....

I think the DT wanted the Huges out of the trial and this was their way to accomplish that. I fault the Hughes for that.

What does Dave Hall (the gun guy) have to do with Chris or Sky Hughes?

I missed the first few minutes this am. What was on the video Juan was trying to use? Was that finger cut explaining to Flores?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No. It was her telling Det. Flores that she wanted to help them find the truth, which was then pointed out to be a BIG FAT LIE!!!!

Liar, you betcha. Premeditated? unsure.

Based on the fact entered...........premeditated all the way starting from the time the .25 caliber was stolen from the very home she lived in.

IMO

Again, from a juror's perspective... did Travis own a gun or no? Just because one of his "friends" will testify he didn't, doesn't mean he didn't.

The sad thing is Travis is not here to confirm this.

OK, I will play along. Travis owned a gun. Where is the box of ammo?:what:

Liar, you betcha. Premeditated? unsure.

Have you had the opportunity to watch the trial in full?

Do you find her credible? If so, now? Or during her first version? Second version? Some mix of each? Do you think she lies to protect her murder victim or to save her tail?

The "video"... Clearly will show Travis liked guns.

Not necessarily... He could have been there to 'conquer his fears' (something I believe he would talk about in his motivational speeches/blog posts) or to fit in with his guy friends who did own and like guns.

There is no evidence that Travis owned a gun (particularly a loaded one on an open shelf). None of his friends or people that knew him well say he owned a gun (including the friend who gave the video to the media - specifically to show and explain his best friend didn't own a gun, but borrowed one for target practice).

There IS evidence that a .25 was stolen from the house JA lived in, and there IS evidence that Travis was shot with a .25, and there IS evidence that JA was there - and JA has admitted to shooting him with the .25 and then hiding /disposing of it.

To me, the bulk of the latter evidence (including physical evidence: Grandpa owned a .25, stolen in a suspicious robbery, .25 ammo found at Mom's house, etc.) FAR outweighs the total lack of evidence regarding Travis owning (or even liking - would he tell his guy friends he didn't? I dunno) firearms.

Whether Travis liked guns, for that matter isn't relevant imv...
I bet he liked knives, too, he had several in his kitchen and likely used them often. :)

I'm not trying to sound snarky - please don't think that - I'm just making general points on this issue that I've gone over in my head... :)

And by the way: WELCOME, ElleElle! :)

True. But big assault weapons---not .25 calibre granny guns. And the witness will testify that Travis did not own his own weapon.

Right. And the minute Jodi's DT gets him on cross, he will be sure to ask Dave how he can be certain that Travis didn't own a gun, and make sure we all know that Travis wasn't always so forthcoming about things with his friends. I can hear it now, "How do you know Travis didn't have a gun, Mr. Hall? ...Did he tell you he was having sex with Ms Arias?" gah!

Jurors go by facts and dont read tealeaves. There are no facts in evidence that Travis ever own a firearm of any kind.

There are nor facts that he did besides "hearsay".

Lets pretend he did own this gun....where is the ammo for it? Any intelligent person/juror will see this is ridiculas. imo

paperwork???? would be needed as well

- Can a .25 be bought in Arizona without a license ?
(I know thru internet etc. you can)
I mean at a gun store.

- Travis obviously hadn't just bought a gun less than a week
prior to his death.
JODI states she had found it in his home.
So he would have had to own it for months .

IMO the lack of ammo says it was not his gun.

IMO the video will prove to the jury that Travis liked BIG guns.
Not tiny ones.....

& then she said he was an afterthought :what: (corrected, afterthought came before alibi)

Soooo...Ryan was an afterthought. Before, she said that she planned the trip specifically to see Ryan and see if there could be some "love" there. And that Travis convinced her to stop and see him. NOW, Ryan is an afterthough, which means going to see (and kill) Travis was her main goal - not Ryan. Premeditation.

Let's play Skyfall 'This is the end..' Arias is done for.

  • #119
Right, but if his relationship with JA was a "secret" to his friends... what else was? (That would tinker in my mind if I was a juror)

She was a secret because he was a Mormon who was supposed to wait for marriage to participate in sexual activity of any kind.

Someone who knows--is there a Mormon rule against owning guns?

Why so you fault them? They werent witnesses so why should they have to remain silent?

imo

Chris Hughes is trying to defend Travis through the media. If he wants to let peeps know Travis didn't have a gun, he should have done it through Juan.
It's Juan's job, and IMO, he is interfering.
I know he loves Travis, but he has to think of the trial rather than his own needs.
