Right, she lies all the time to try and not be held responsible.... So what is more believable: a liar's word about a gun in a closet or the damning circumstantial evidence that she brought the gun with her to TAs?

Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, the Bible says.

Jodi doesn't have a second witness to anything she says, not even herself. Does she mention any of this in her diary? Or in a text message? Or in an email?

Does she tell her diary, OMG I found Travis' gun today while cleaning his closet?

No.

She just has one witness to anything she says, herself, a proven liar.

IMO

It was already loaded.

Ok, I will testify. Guns do not come loaded when you purchase them. You have to buy ammunition. Ammunition comes in a box. There is more ammunition (bullets) in a box than it takes to load the gun. You cannot buy 6 or 8 bullets, or however many your gun will accept at one time. No box or other ammunition was found in Travis's house. This would suggest that the murderer brought the gun, loaded, in preparation for committing the crime. THAT goes to premeditation.

I was re-watching her police interview yesterday and when asked if Travis had a gun, she clearly stated "Not that I am aware of". Doh!

AND - she said if he did have one, *she'd* know about it...

Why is the detective always sitting with JM? Is that how it usually is? I love them both!

Chris Hughes has, to my knowledge been silent on the topic of Travis and guns. I admit I have not visited said social media today. Are you perhaps confusing Chris Hughes with Dave Hall? Dave is the person who has been on other media with the video of Travis shooting Dave's guns. Dave was not asked to appear in court prior to today (as a witness) and as far as anything I have seen or read he has a constitutional right to speak to whomever he wants to about whatever he wants to. No one could have imagined that she would dream up this cockamamie story that the gun belonged to Travis. So, I guess they did not think they needed testimony to show Travis did not own a gun. I still say the defense walked right into this door, and it will ultimately go to show even more what a liar she is.

I wondered the same about the delay- however I started to think about a time I didn't think I had a particular photo or had erased it and come to find out my coworker still had a copy. Perhaps Dave Hall did not think he still had access to the digital evidence and perhaps later realized someone still had a copy. I know he (or others) testified much earlier that Travis had no gun - maybe this is the first time he could back his words up with tangible evidence.

Great post! Just wanted to add my :twocents: If the pistol belonged to Travis, and he was shot with it, why didn't she just leave his gun at the crime scene. Why take it and dispose of it in the desert? Because it was her grandfather's pistol, she stole in order to murder Travis, that's why.

you know what? this is a GREAT point. if the gun was HIS, why throw it away?

Does anyone know what was shown in court this morning that the Judge instructed to disregard?
