I was finally able to get registered! :rocker: I have been lurking here for years and since my husband is tired of hearing me talk about La Arias, I figured I needed to stop lurking! Looking forward to today!

:seeya:

Wouldn't surprise me if Jodi tries to get out of court with sickness today.

Nothing the evil one does would surprise me. I think she knows what's coming and for some reason can't face it. :what:

I wonder what Jodi we'll see today: snotty Jodi, meek Jodi, memory lapse Jodi or "not tonight, I have a headache" Jodi?

She does deserve to die but lwop will suit me just fine, she can live a long non existant life knowing every day she will be there and she will get her butt kicked a lot of times in prison
With her smart a$$ attitude and she is so much smarter than everyone else, NOT!

Thing is, I be
Ieve she will kill again and not every one in prison is a murderer and theydo not deserve the likes of her. I think a padded cell, all alone, would do just fine.

Can you honestly say she knows the difference between fantasy and reality?
She is a psychopath - not psychotic. As such she has woven her fantasy into her reality. She 'knows' it isn't the truth but instead of revealing the actual truth, which would send her to death row, she will instead roll the dice and attempt to manipulate the jury into believing her reality.

She believes she is powerful enough, superior enough, smart enough to make the evidence fit her story. She is arrogant enough to believe she can con 18 people into believing Juan is a fool and the State's case is as inconsequential as swatting a gnat; that she was a meek and mild, virginal, easily dominated abuse victim incapable of getting away from a man who did vile, reprehensible things; that she is SO good, so thoughtful and considerate she only didn't tell the truth to save those that loved this man any more pain.

If one needs proof Ms. Arias knows her reality isn't THE reality one needs only to look at the letters purportedly written by Travis Alexander, widely reported as forgeries, which coincidentally back up much of her testimony. The letters that surfaced in 2010. Then look to the magazine evidence of witness tampering.

I'd say there is more than enough evidence to conclude Jodi is twisting and manipulating every known fact in this case attempting to make it fit within her version of events.

That is wholly inconsistent with someone suffering from delusional psychosis.

MOO

Something else we know for sure: Jodi goes crazy when Juan asks her if she's jealous.

Her facial expression when he asked her about an incident with Travis with another woman was weirdly contorted--she just can't stand to be called jealous.

She will mind-numbingly go through each hour and minute of her dating life, and when one the men cheats or emails antoher woman, she says "the trust was gone"--but NEVER that she was jealous of someone else.

I wonder why?

My guess is that if she admits to being jealous, it will help the prosecution's argument. It could also be that she thinks she is a goddess and would never be jealous of anyone. It angers her that anyone would suggest such a thing. ha!

I'm hoping the jury doesn't believe it. There is ZERO evidence of Travis having a gun, but there is evidence that JA's grandparents owned a gun with the exact same caliber that just happened to be stolen. All the jury has to do is connect the dots and not get caught up in her lies. :please: A certain jury from Florida was unable to do this. The evidence was all there, the picture was clear, yet they got it so wrong.

I'm hoping they will. Plus I really believe this is an open and shut case.
Guilty....:jail::jail::jail::jail::jail:

I wonder if they are trying to build on a personality disorder. Is this play acting or a personality trait...multiple.

1. There's a big difference between not being given lunch, or not eating lunch. A huge difference. A Constitutional rights difference. I'm confused about this. It's hard to imagine the Sheriff's Office would be so stupid as to neglect to provide lunch knowing it could throw this entire proceeding off the rails.

2. I suspect Ms Jailhouse Lawyer requested a special lunch, i.e., vegan, or kosher, or something else that the law allows but the Sheriff's Office might have difficulty providing.

I hope we get a reasonable explanation of this. If the Sheriff's office really refused to provide lunch, how come her lawyers aren't capitalizing on it to the max? All the compensation they want is for the proceedings to end at 4:30 every day?

This whole issue smells like baloney sandwiches.

Jodi should be treated like everyone else (who is on trial for murder). If they get lunch, give her lunch. If they don't, no lunch. If they get baloney, give her baloney. If she doesn't want it, tough sh**.
Every other trial is till 5:30, hers should be till 5:30. This judge needs to tell her, your diva days are over, you are just like everyone else.
She got her own stupid self in this predicament, live with it.

I heard that! It almost sounded like he realized what he said after he said it....

I thought it odd. Because 4:30 has always been the time. He makes sure to let the judge know when to go to lunch, when to have a break, when to shut down for the day. He pretty much controls the courtroom.

I keep wanting to hear the details of the murder, but then, I have to remind myself that Jodi has already confessed to killing Travis.

Fact is, the onus on the prosecution now is to prove that Jodi was not a victim of DV and that the murder was not in self-defense.

Martinez has to go through all this questioning with Ms. Passive Aggressive to make his points. Then, he has to decimate the defense experts, using Jodi's testimony on cross to parry their statements.

Let's not forget, Jodi has been proven to have lied to each of the defense experts.

What is your opinion? Just curious. Do you think JA deserves LWOP?

Did Travis deserve to die? Did he slaughter someone? Therein lies your answer.

Anyone else find it ironic that Kirk Nurmi officially requested of the Court, on the record, that 4:30 [p.m.] be the "drop-dead time" for the session each day?

I Know!! I went back and listened to it twice yesterday! What a choice of words from someone who is defending a Murderer.
I said earlier that I wonder If 10:15 is the official DROP DEAD time for court to start this morning.

Like I said before, this is all an act. She does not have multiple personality disorder. She's a liar trying to get the most lenient punishment possible. She already tried to plead for 2nd degree and was turned down and that's when this new story of self defense originated. She's had 4 years to perfect her story.

Jealousy is a fault in her eyes. Snooping, stalking and lying? Not so much! Murder? Nope - nothing wrong with that when she feels it called for. :banghead:

Yes, no doubt about it. If she had issues such as that, her Defense team would jump all over it as her Defense given the circumstances of such a rage killing.

But in 4 years that she has been in Jail, they have never tried to portray her as having ANY mental defect. (except the new defense they thought up last year, battered woman syndrome)

It has been proven. Jodi was not a victim of anything!

No kidding. I may have given her the benefit of the doubt if he had been stabbed once or shot once. There is no freaking way this was self defense at all! I don't for one second think she was abused in any way! :gavel: If anything, it was Travis who was abused by her!
