Beth reported, on NG's show, the gas purchases and how that can had to have approximately two gallons of gas in it.

If the can has never been recovered, chances are it went the way of the other evidence left somewhere out in the desert.

Yes, he is a bit goofy...but I have never seen the photos of the knife wounds in TA's head. Have you? It is new to me.

The head slashes were depicted on the autopsy report .. the one with the drawn body and the ME points out the gun shot, slices and stab wounds.

She wasnt very pretty to me. Something about her right eye is distracting and her nose is way too large and prominent imo. And her bottom lip looks like she dips dry tobacco.

When she is really snippy with Juan, she opens her mouth more and her teeth drive me crazy. I just keep staring at them too.

Do they realize Juan hasn't gotten to the murder yet and that he obvious will spend the necessary time there (unlike Nurmi and the defense that spent 30 mins with a really lame attempt at a self defense claim)?

He's already proven premeditation to me today--license plates and gas cans. That's all I need.

Several have said the same and I would not put it past her to lay out these landmines if not for JM to hopefully ask her,or HER attorneys on re-direct to jump on.

Not sure what photo you are talking about but Juan's pen is in some of the photos, from where he is asking the witness a question pointing with his pen on the photo.




He wasn't shot first, the stabs were first and the gunshot was last. Medical testimony verifies this.

Also just the fact that she states she shot him first should be reason enough not to believe it happened that way. She lies about everything.

He clearly lays it out. In fact he agrees with Dr. Horn that Travis may have already been dead or very close to death when the shot was fired into his forehead.

Yeah she wants to omit the knife altogether so she doesnt have to go into the gruesome details. Remember she said she thought he was still alive? Thats why she shot him. He was probably taking agonal death breaths.

No flames from me, friend, but I want to share my experience, which I posted right after joining WS. I live in a senior apartment complex and my close friend and neighbor died in her bed on a Sunday or at the latest Monday. My front door is 30 feet from her front door. It took until Thursday for the smell to become noticeable and raise the alarm. This is in California with temperatures in the 60's.

The coroner did not arrive for another twelve hours during which time they posted a policeman at her front door to keep people out. By Friday the smell was noticeable on the floor beneath ours as well as in our hall.

Just letting you know... On the subject of the roommates, there is another explanation. Mormons are expected to tell the bishop if they see any improprieties going on. Every family, for example, has a home teacher who visits once a month and reports back to the bishop if anything is noticed which indicates the members are having "problems" with their faith. This would include visible beer cans, cigarettes, or if the family reports any concerns that the ward could help with.

What this means when you are single is that everybody is watching you. I was reported for having a strange car in my driveway overnight. The bishop called me and asked me whose car that was. I was reported for having "men" driving up to my house all hours of the night. I had four grown sons who worked night shift and I babysat for them. I am sharing this because MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS is the way to avoid violating the expectation of your to rat on your friends.

It is perfectly consistent with their self-interest that Travis' roommates would not want to know what was going on in his private bedroom. Even if they knew there were improprieties going on, they don't want to tell the bishop and have the bishop call him and say, "It has been reported that you are having lady friends stay overnight." Travis would know immediately it was a roommate who reported him.

They looked the other way.

You can see this dynamic in action with Jodi's roommate Rachel. She did not report Jodi's statement of having oral sex with Travis to the bishop. Instead, she eloped and told Jodi she would have to leave for that reason. She did not want to piss her off because I am 100% certain the entire ward knew exactly who slashed Travis' and Lisa's tires--they knew she was DANGEROUS.

In fact, I agree with those who are worried about witnesses should she be paroled at any time.

I absolutely second your opinions and experience . . . . it very much follows my knowledge and experience. This is exactly the same dynamics in the Mormon church that I know.

I'm in a foul mood today so nothing is sitting well with me. Obviously seeing what happened to him is horrible and I hate that they're being splashed all over these shows, soon to be flooding the internet. They'll become background visuals as the TH's start critiquing JM's prosecutorial skills and defense TH's talk about how abused poor JA was.
It's all so disgusting and disrespectful. It's like they all forget this was a real man with a life and family and now he's a crime scene photo for them to "break exclusively!"

I'll be off sitting in a corner.

the ones he has are photos the court and jury have! I have some he did not show, and the ones I found are also shown to the jury!

so far I do not know of any "renegade" photos so to speak, that leaked out and that were not already out by the trial!

I guess I expected the PA to somehow prove that the pics were not TA's and that TA did not send those pics. Esp. after the discussion here on how many forum members did not think the coloring of the hand matched TA's complexion. Little thing, I guess, but in my mind I thought she might be nailed on that.

Don't mind me. I am still thinking here. I am more apt to believe she is trying to confuse the jury because they heard her say we as well as us. Maybe she setting up MM for something, Someone posted a while ago MM was testifying for the state.
