She can't think of how to include the stabbing and throat slashing into a story that makes for a convincing case of self defense. She's hoping that at least one dumb juror will fill in the blanks for her.
I thought it was pretty bad when she changed her story (again), and now he followed her into the closet. If he was in the closet, where she supposedly flew up and got the loaded hidden gun without disturbing so much as a shoelace, wouldn't he have stopped her from taking what he knew was a loaded gun? why would he chase her in a circle?
