Awww, dangit! Poor laptop, RIP. Another death due to JA.
Thanks soooooo much for all you do, wenwe4! Thanks button is hardly enough... And, thanks for your spelling of "Green Witch." I was thinking the same thing, lol. :floorlaugh:
The only way she could ever be saved is if Travis drove to Yreka, beat the carp out of her with a wooden spoon, and she had to defend herself. But her overkill still wouldn't justifiy it in my eyes.
But, NO, she drove to him, seduced him, made him vulnerable, and hacked him to pieces.
How long are they gonna keep this killer on the stand? What's the purpose?
MOO

ps: did mommy get a haircut? And what's with the headphones?

It really bothers me that there are people out there who seem to think that the responsibility for the dynamics of their "relationship" falls completely on Travis. Jodi is an ADULT woman and is just as capable of making the decision to walk away vs. continuing to pursue a man she knows has no interest in a future with her. It goes both ways!
Yes, maybe Travis was using her for sex. Ok. Well, Jodi was using sex to try and stay close to him. Maybe she did think that he would change his mind and "fall" for her, but she could've given up and stopped having sex with him at any time. She even says in her letter that she knew he liked his "bachelor status" or something along those lines. She also says that she's not his "secret lover" but a FRIEND. It seems clear to me that she knew where he stood, but made the CHOICE to continue a sexual relationship with him.
Why is it TA's responsibility to end it out of concern for her feelings? For all we know, he tried and she told him she was good with how things were between them. Anyway, my point is, it went both ways and I don't think it's fair to place the blame on one side.
IMO, he was not as emotionally invoved as Jodi, much easier to end a relationship. He should have ended it. Jodi was not strong enough emotionally but Travis was. She was the mouse that T pawed, clawed and tossed into the air. T got off on toying with herjust like a cat. If you have ever beeen in love, you would know how difficult if not impossible for you to end it. I was lucky that when I was in that situation, the guy was noble enough to end it even tho' sex still great.
If I am on the jury, I am extremely tired of Jodi and have started tuning out her testimony. She is such a twisted little brat who couldn't get her way and liked slaughtering a man. So if JM rips her every moment, I think the jury, every single man and woman, will be enthused and happy to see it!
The dead TA was abusive towards the defendant.
Oh, come on...isn't it obvious? He was MEEEEEAAAN to her. Barf.
someone just walked by in denim shorts!
I considered that, but isn't there a microphone in front of that? Two mic's perhaps?
So true!!:behindbarthey have something...anger/rage/premediation...Jodi reading them is bringing it home....jmo
Oh, I see the OTHER Katie has purposefully put herself right behind in camera shot of Jodi's mom and aunt who just came in lat to court at 58 after the hour!
They look so happy to be there. Day at the park I guess.
what do you all make of the defense atty that practices in AZ (sometimes against JM) saying that Juan M "attack dog" questioning could be his own liability. Claiming that JM does not know when to stop and jurors do not like it??
I think nurmi goes back and forth on purpose to confuse the jury
I used to think that if she was so crazy/stalker, why didn't he just tell her to get lost...well, he did, but bunny boiler Jodi wasn't listening. At this point it's clear to me there's nothing he could have done. Nothing. Jodi would not be denied.
