I'd like to give Jodi a nice hot cup of shut the f*** up for lunch.
Make it a double! Give her one for me too! :floorlaugh:

IMO... the whole sex in the northern california woods was totally j.a's idea - that's why Travis suggested she go do it with someone else.

Like it was her idea to begin with imp

that was sure what I got out of it too...her fantasy, not Travis'......and it really ticks me off that she can say whatever she wants with no proof (shades of jose baez).....I hate this!!

He did act like an addict in that respect. You're right. Do you think Jodi had nothing to do with this?
The point I keep trying to make, and so obviously failing at, is that being in a relationship with a psychopath brings out a darker part of who you are. You do things you would never consider yourself capable of. It's part of the process. Where on superficial levels it would appear as addiction or desire, an insidious process of manipulation, gaslighting, crazy-making, and brainwashing is occurring. It doesn't necessarily mean you don't *want* to but rather the reasons you would want to are often sullied in my opinion.

Jodi would've fed off of bringing out Travis' darker side - or on a more basic level - being more powerful and potent than his own faith in her mind. As such she would have specifically and strategically manufactured and engineered events, manipulated and coerced him, to provide situations to feed her. Any embarrassment, shame, or debasement of Travis' morals really would have been icing on her psychopathic cupcake.

What's up with this judge? I think she is wrong overruling ( did she just say pure wrath?wtf))

I think the Judge has TOTALLY lost control of this direct examination. I know she is probably letting it go on and on and on because she doesn't want any appeal issues, but it is getting beyond the point of ridiculous. There is absolutely NO relevance with respect to these one-sided text messages. What a waste of tax-payer money. I am becoming increasingly more and more disgusted!!! Come on ... we get it and so does the jury!!

By the way I haven't posted on this site since the Laci Peterson Murder trial (until a couple of days ago). Have been lurking for a couple of weeks and now I am a "born-again-websleuther". Nice to be back :seeya:

That "accidental" text to Travis couldn't be more intentional.

And that is exactly how Jodi operates. Anytime she describes something she does as accidental or forgetful on her part, think planned and intentional.

Whenever she calls herself an airhead, driving 100 miles in the opposite direction- think intentional- she drove 100 miles in the opposite direction- intentionally- with forethought and malice.

IMO Juan is doing great today by objecting to much of this garbage. It makes it very hard to follow the flow...if you can call it that...that Nurmi is trying to achieve. I seriously don't know the point of any of this bull carp.

And the judge appears awake today. I've never heard her say sustained so much!

I'm waiting for her to say "move it along Nurmi" - but hopefully she is saying that at sidebar.

MOO

I agree. It was a very disfunctional relationship, on BOTH sides. He sent very mixed messages, but based on the phone recording, he appeared to really enjoy talking to her, even long after the sexual stuff. He seemed very torn in his emotions about what he wanted vs. what he needed to do. JA did as well.

Both made mistakes, neither deserved to die for their mistakes. TA was slaughtered to death 3 times over, JA wasn't. And here we are...

I have a feeling that when we hear the flip side to this storyline, the picture will be a little clearer. But I do believe that they were using each other, while enjoying time with each other also occasionally.

JMHO. By the way, welcome dallen! :seeya:

BBM

No neither one deserved to die for making human mistakes BUT imo she DOES DESERVE DEATH for what she did to Travis and I hope she gets it.

Murdering Travis in cold blood was NOT a mistake. It was a plan.

imo

100% agree. They were both using each other, neither are perfect and both acted jerky to one another.

just me: but I am going to wait to hear Travis' side of the story before I make any opinion on that.

just my take however:twocents:

Totally agree, I have suspected this for a while. Her goose really is cooked!

Does anyone know if any of the jurors look at her as they come in and leave?

I don't think any of them looked at her while they were leaving. Jodi looked upset while watching them leave and even gave a deep sigh. I don't think she is too happy. jmo

is this day 7 or day 8 for arias on the stand?

I have lost track.

Jean Casares on In Session said that Jodi eyes them when they enter/leave the courtroom, but they do not look at her.

(Mitigation specialist might want to tell JA that her falsies are bustin out of that top.)
Now she is trying to seduce the jury. Perhaps she thinks her sexy wiles (gag) will work on them since nothing else will.

That doesn't mean it's ok to murder......

Why doesn't the judge pull Nurmi aside and say; I know what your doing. Your giving her the answers so after the objection she has the answer. STOP IT!!
