For obvious reasons I have always doubted her claims of abuse - but a lot of her testimony IS consistent with having been abused, including the visceral reaction from a distance. She studied her notes well.

I really am looking forward to cross and the possibility of a rebuttal DV expert to highlight the many reasons why I personally doubt her.

Why does Juan object to the text messages being entered into evidence? I know he says "hearsay," but what does he mean by that, in regard to the messages?

Because they are - and (I believe) something about them has not been properly established... (who sent them, lack of foundation, I'm not sure).

And because he objects when there is something that needs to be objected to - and he knows his trial procedure. I know this because the judge has sustained all but a couple of his objections today, if that.
