Well......so if she used the gun to kill Travis, and then she took it with her, she still STOLE a gun......right?

No LE has ever mentioned she had a license or registration or permit or sales record that would allow her to have a firearm with her legally... though here in AZ, the laws are pretty - no very - lax as to firearms.

It may be legal to have one in your glovebox, unloaded, etc. but I believe you need to have some sort of proof it's not stolen, but I'd have to check the A.R.S's again to make sure and I don't want to take the time right now because testimony has become *slightly* more relevant.

Note: Just realized this was a three-state interstate trip: CA, AZ, UT, CA, and I am almost positive gun laws in CA, at least are more stringent than AZ. Don't know about UT. Don't know about any federal laws regarding interstate travel and firearms...

I know stealing a gun from grandpa and driving all over the west/southwest US is very, very illegal.
