(Respectfully snipped for focus on this one issue) :)

IT,T,TA... :) Why would JA take the so-called ropes with her, for that matter?
All that was found by LE was what looked like about 4 inches of something, and a decorative loop (that may have held some lengths of cord together) on one of the stairs...

I don't think the "ropes" (they're decorative, tasseled, smooth, shiny cord made up of tons of wispy threads. They are not utilitarian - like rope). This is not rope. It might be used for sex play - who knows (and who cares?). Even sex experts don't call that deviant for consenting adults... either way, it's not relevant to the murder, imv.

.....sounds like they may be drapery tie backs....

Listening to her is forcing us to roam around in her dirty, flithy attic of a mind....ugh!

Oh yeah -- I believe she brought the knife and gun with her. Her tale so far is ludicrous. She did something in the downstairs bathroom though because otherwise, I don't think she would have concocted this rough sex, clean up scenario.

Good point. She probably used the downstairs bathroom to clean off her bloody hands, face & hair -- and then changed into fresh, non-murderous clothes before driving to Utah.

That would be why she concocted the lie that Travis "took" her on his desk, and then ordered her to go in the bathroom and "clean up."

I suppose she threw the bloody stuff and camera in the washing machine down there before she went into that bathroom.

In other words, she needed to explain any evidence of having been in the downstairs bathroom... so she made up an ENTIRE, WHOPPING Office SEX SCENE, just to explain why there's evidence she was in there.

(Otherwise, her forthcoming "I can't remember cleaning up or what I did with the gun & knife or ANYTHING after TA hit me" won't work.)

Weirdest, though: She said something about laying down on the office floor (before he "spun her around" and took her). :please:

Did she need to explain being in that area of the floor, for some reason? ... This reminds me of her telling Det. Flores she was crouched near the toilet floor, taking pictures of TA in the bathroom -- when the Ninja Turtles appeared. Jodi Arias spends more time on the floor and spinning than anyone I've ever known.

CT (until you change your clocks) is one hour later than AZ time.

For 2:00pm CT - UNTIL March 10, 2013:

PT: 12:00pm (noon)
MT/AZ:1:00pm
CT: 2:00pm
ET: 3:00pm

For 2:00pm CT - from March 10, 2013 to November 3, 2013:

PT/AZ: 12:00pm (noon)
MT: 1:00pm
CT: 2:00pm
ET: 3:00pm

We might still be in the sentencing phase when AZ become 2 hours earlier than you - rather than the 1 it is now... :)

On a small island south of the Australian mainland, I spent considerable parts of today checking my watch, and then trying to calculate the time in Arizona. (Minus 18 hours) I have spent so much time reading, watching youtube videos, and studying photos that I could close my eyes, and almost be in that court room..
(Of course my imagination didn't go as far as hearing testimony, which might have been a blessing with what I've read so far tonight)

Watching Nancy Grace last night-she said that the questions they ask on the show....the defense attorney tries to get them answered the next day. I'm sure the lawyer goes to the nighttime shows to get ideas for the next day. LOL

How is Napoleon? How is Jewel? Napoleon was left in that house for five days with no food or water. B*%$
Enrique's girlfriend cared for Napoleon, just so you know he wasn't left without food or water.

Still, Jodi had no way of knowing that would happen. So I wholeheartedly agree with your apropos definition. ;)

The only rage Travis ever had was the frustration of trying to rid his life of JA. It is impossible to explain what these types can do to a person. He, at some level, knew his life depended on how he treated her. He was the one who gave in to her. I am convinced he went along with the sex to keep her happy....not the other way around. He was afraid if she got angry, she could kill (subconscious). She is the one that uses sex to decompress, not him.

Oh you know for sure she didn't stick to any tenets of Mormonism in the least! She even had sex on the day of her baptism, but didn't protest!!! She only converted to get Travis. I wish they'd publicly ex-communicate her.

Looks like Jodi fully bought into one aspect of Mormonism in particular: ye old blood atonement rite.

In the olden days of LDS, it's documented that those whose sins were too big to be covered by the blood of Christ were ordered to undergo "individual blood atonement." This often meant church leaders would slit a sinner's throat from ear to ear, letting the blood drip down into the grave.

This blood atonement rite was officially removed from LDS practice decades ago. However Jodi -- a "devout Mormon" -- obviously felt high & mighty enough in the religion to personally revive it.

I am praying that JM brings this up. The jury needs to know...

So are we expecting to hear about the murder today?

Ive been wanting her to hurry up and get to this point but now we are here I don't know if I can listen to it. We all know its going to be a bunch of lies and not the cold hard facts of what she done.

Bring on Juan, Jodi sweetie you are toast :)

I'm bummed that so many folks on here think she surprised him in the shower :( I think it's so much more premeditated that she had a plan to trap him in that shower. She had it figured out way beforehand, imho. She brought the weapons on purpose to that bathroom -- where there were no defensive weapons available -- and trapped him in that tiny shower, where he could only leave by one direction. I think she was able to convince him to sit down, even.

I don't think it's as strong evidence if she just surprised him. I think she planned exactly how to overpower him better than that.

The defense is already questioning why she didn't just shoot him sometime before. I seriously think she planned to sleep with him first and then kill him in the shower at the end instead of leaving nicely. The thought of her titillation about that as they were having sex blows my mind, but I think that's exactly what she did. Talk about murder-as-control! She had to feel wicked as hell during their intimacy. Pure evil.

She didn't happen to catch him in the shower (imho). No way.

I agree with you 100%. I have always thought that those shower pics were not willingly taken. He doesn't look as if he is posing to me. He looks very tense and stiff. I think she is using a gun to control him. She probably always wanted to take shower pics of him, but he would never allow it. I think he was forced to do what he never wanted to to. Also, after hearing those text messages he sent her in the week prior, I seriously doubt he would allow her to do this. I think he knew she was pure evil and he experienced it that day. So sad

I can see that 'rope' used to drag Travis down the hall. I wonder if they checked it for blood or his skin for fibers?

Gun point for sure.

Gun point for sure.

I agree, I think he's being held at gunpoint and told what to do and how to pose. That full-on face photo shows his absolute fear. There are no other pictures of TA with that expression. In fact, if you look at all of his other photos the expression on his face is quite the opposite. He wasn't a naturally fearful looking person, if that make sense.

What rope? There was a tiny bit of tassel found. Nothing suggesting any kind of or length of fibers/rope.

What would be the point of holding a gun on Travis and making him "pose" for pictures in the shower? Her goal was to kill him quickly and in a confined space to minimize mess and minimize his ability to respond, escape, or fight back. That's where the element of surprise would come in and it would be to her advantage.

Her wielding a gun and then making him do various things increases the chance he can fight back, overwhelm her, escape or some combination. I think she ambushed him after he went into the shower. Until she started her attack I don't think he knew she had weapon(s).

I think there was rope involved, but I think she used it on him. I still can't make sense of the calorie thing on his arm. That looks like duct tape. There was duct tape at the crime scene. Looks like a piece of duct tape hanging from the bed post...as if someone used a knife to cut the duct tape from his arm. I wouldn't be surprised if she used this rope around his neck while he was duct taped to the bed?? There are two red lines around his neck in the last shower pic. You can follow those little red lines to a spot in front of his neck as well. When I first saw this picture, I saw the fear in his eyes and those two red lines. She enjoyed torturing him. I am wondering if she did put on the water works to get in the house, forced him upstairs when they were in his office, tied him up, took pics of herself on an auto-timer, cut him loose and took pics of him while throwing in the bottle of KY to torture him more. The poor guy probably didn't think she would actually kill him at that point, but was only blackmailing him with all the pics and recorded phone tapes. I think when she was done torturing him on the bed with nude photos, I think she forced him in the shower and finished him off. I am NOT convinced they had sex that day at all. If they did, I think she would have taken pics of it on an autotimer. He wasn't interested. This is how I would see it as a juror. Of course, :moo:..............and thinking out loud.

Where is the evidence that suggests this? There is none.

I think it was apart of her torturing him. He would have never allowed it, otherwise.
