Katiecoo,
Thank you so much for all your comments from the trial. May God bless you for what you do for others, even after all you have been through yourself. If it is tearing at my heart, I cannot imagine what it does to you to sit through Jodi's lies. You have my heartfelt gratitude for a job well done.

First for Travis' family, we are all so sorry for each of them. I feel they must not only want to scream but to destroy her themselves. There is such raw emotion from having your loved one murdered and then see the DT trying to destroy him in court. I am praying the jury sends a very quick, decisive, resounding GUILTY and stares straight into her eyes when they do so.

When you said there is only one juror causing you concern, is there a certain reason, without describing that person, why you think she/he would be a problem? At this point, well for me from day one, I cannot see any juror falling for anything coming out of her and her team.

I will miss Beth Karas so much! Court TV/In Session has never been the same since they began to dismantle it a few years back. And while I will try to stomach NG to see you, the night shows are so awful. They are all about ratings and this nation is so much into reality Tv which isn't reality at all, completely staged, IMO. Please tell Beth everyone loves her and I hope she gets a wonderful, great paying position with another network.

The testimony yesterday was gut wrenching because everyone knows JA is lying and making it up as Nurmi is leading her constantly. So many side chair lawyers on TV have said JM cannot be a bully towards her. I think the opposite is true! He must rip her to shreds in every single area so there is nothing left of her. Let her wail or cry, if she has it in her, let her sob and moan. Some suffering on her part is over due for all she is doing to Travis still.

Her pedophilia stories makes me sick. The sex tape showed she was more into this kinky stuff than TA was. She was laughing and leading him on when he was past tired.

The nonsense about not stealing the gun and the rope story were laughable if there wasn't a dead body because of it!

I am so glad no one in the jury looks at her. They must go home at night and want to vomit....and shower for hours. I just wonder how many of them break into tears while they are showering and remembering what she did to Travis?

In the end, I know Juan Martinez will expose her lies and I do hope he does some grandstanding that others accuse him of. I am all for it. I hope he makes Nurmi appear like such a squirrel that Nurmi has no business to get back to. May sound harsh but he has helped Jodi to murder Travis once again as if the first, second or third time was not enough!

In the end, sadly, none of this will bring Travis back. I will be praying for his family and friends. This trial has made him so real to me.

So Katiecoo, thanks again. I am so sorry for the tragedy your experienced yourself. I am glad you are now a cousin in the Travis' family. Will look forward to your comments tonight.
God bless you.

I don't know where I saw it....but know that I did...there is a pic of TA with what looks to me an "impression" of another strip of tape below the elbow as well....I am gonna look til I find it....

I put a copy in the timeline and media thread (once there you could do a thread search for "tape" to pin it down)

I think we all will be on social security before JA gets to whole POINT of this trial. Plus, she will have to answer to more than one homicide....she is literally boring thousands of people to death...yawn

Just think she still needs to go on about her actions afterwords AND why she lied to police. Plus, all the feelings she was experiencing in between..........can't forget that.

They won't be putting off the murder any more. Today will be the day. Of course it will be a pack of lies and nothing resembling the truth so consider it hours of your life you'll never get back. Until Mr. Juan gets up to do his thing there's nothing of interest happening for me...certainly nothing truthful.

I cant wait for that. I'm just so tired of listening to her voice but I cant seem to look away.

Its not often I get to see a sociopath in all it's glory!

It is more like "we found an errant tassel on the stair so how can we use it?" strategy. And when I say use it I mean explain why there could be a knife within seconds grabbing distance to support the fairytale they are making up to explain this premeditated homicide. They are working backward from the evidence and crafting a stupid fiction full of holes.

That testimony was so fake it was sad to me - but then became downright funny given what I thought I heard her say. Did she not testify that after they laid the string out and cut it (WITH SCISSORS - I did hear that, right?) that he then formed a noose on each end, that she could get out of but then went on to say because Travis had a sleigh bed that is the only way to tie her up...................... but then, instead of using the scissors he went down and got a knife from the block in the kitchen??????? :waitasec::waitasec: So, she could slip out of the noose and he had scissors when he cut the rope, but needed a knife from the kitchen?????

So, did I hear wrong or is this one of the defense team's weakest, most insulting 'stories' to date?

Recalled post that doubted a dog would leave a room when owner is unhappy:

My DD has a dog that will leave the room if she as much as thinks she may get mad. Once you change your tone, she leaves. So there's a possibility that she may have seen this in her lifetime...as I am sure she has made more than one person extremely angry.

Maybe HER PARENT'S dog would leave the room when people were angry. If, as some have surmised, Jodi is like her mom and both would explode with rage, possibly their dog has seen lots of angry outbursts and would be frightened of angry people.

Whaaaaa?
not that familiar with myspace but can you upload a later photo into any dated album? iirc Juan objected to this photo and wanted an actual date; pls correct me if wrong :waitasec:

Yes. You can establish an album and even if you add new pics at a later time, the album will still have the date on which it was begun. Same with FB and even the albums here on WS, I think. :twocents:

I feel so sorry for those jurors! They must feel like they have been taken hostage by a crazy lady! I expect to see a note in the basket that says, Please make it stop!

But if feel worse for his family having to sit there day after day and listen to her drone on and on about things that only happened in her sick twisted mind.

Come on now, that rope is got to be 6 inches long.

CTV was new and not considered a real network during OJ. They reenacted the whole court room trial at night. I remember that. I wonder who the actors were and where they are now.

I watched the real trial on CNN.

It's called not keeping your lies straight.

if there was rope she most likely brought the rope and also took it with her and threw it out with all the other stuff she got rid of somewhere.

:twocents:

I think there definitely was rope. The deep red marks on Travis' neck while he is showering are proof enough for me.

I think an appropriate 1st question from Juan on cross would be "M'am, during your 10 days if testimony, did you lie at all in any statement you made to the jury ?"

And then Juan can proceed to dissect the little roach limb by limb ... it might take 10 days to expose all of her lies.

Hi folks, haven't been on WS in a very long time. Was so disappointed at how the CA trial ended that I had to walk away. Unfortunetley I have gotten caught up in Jodi trial and I wanted to ask a question about the testamony yesterday. Last week she talked about getting a pamplet at the mall and giving it to Travis prior to her moving away. Yesterday didn't I hear her say that she SENT him a flyer from CA? That seems like a big difference and I wondered if anyone else heard that and I was surprised to not see a seperate thread on the pamplet. Have I missed that thread in my search? Thanks

You see those too? I saw those when I first looked at the pic and nothing was ever said by the prosecution or ME, and I just figured that those were just neck lines. They are too distinct for neck lines. I think there was rope used, and I think it was on his neck. I know the ME made no mention of it, but is it possible that after decomposition and bloating of the body, those red lines were not as apparent. Just speculating , on my part. I think this poor man was tortured. I feel for his family to have to see this. Travis was right, she is pure evil.

I noticed the stories were different. I just chalked it up to lie 9,999

I know, I feel badly for his family as well. LOL about the note in the basket. I don't think any of those juror's would dare ask Jodi a question. They just want her to shut up, you're right about that.

I think she was trying to anthropomorphize the dog and make him a human witness.

(epic fail imhoo)

When she said that Napoleon always got upset/scared or whatever when there was going to be Travis-wrath my eyes rolled so hard I am surprised they aren't stuck in the back of my head.

JA said that to make the dog look like a victim and Travis more brutish.

Dr. Drew over-stigmatizes/over-labels everyone and everything and it bugs me. I think he's an internist... (?)

:rocker:Yes Dr D gets on my last nerve. Defends every nutty person and does not ever ask the hard questions. He's not a psychiatrist so why would anyone take his word for anything? He defended Octomom and thought CA was sexually abused.:moo:
