not to quote my own post but I am thinking about this more.. and really she has been doing it from the get go of her testimony to include the myspace page.

She made it sound as if napoleon could sit in my computer chair and click "like" on his own photos with his (opposable thumbs) paws.

YES! And in her interviews with Det. Flores she made the point of talking (lovingly) about the "special way of petting Napolean" that made him spin around and around, as if she and "Naps" had a unique bond. In the same way that she referred to herself as "BEST FRIENDS FOREVER" with Travis, I found her fakey-close relationship with his dog off-putting and suspect.

I've got the hubs watching the trial for me during the day while I am at work, he is obsessed now too! I like to ask him his opinions on some of JA's claims, as a male with a healthy sexual appetite. :blushing:

I know the whole point was to place the knife in the bathroom, but measuring and cutting the rope? Come on, he says, I would just want to get down to business, if the rope isn't the right length it gets thrown to the floor!

The other thing is, while I am aware it could happen, what does everyone think of her claims that they had sex 3 times? That would be 3 erections for TA in a five hour window (she says they woke up at noon, had sex, they had sex for the video and then the desk sex, the shower pics were around 5:30?). Hubs says at 30 years old, he could have maybe done it twice, but not that close together. I know, TMI!! Like I said, it is possible though!

I'm with those of you though who wonder about the use of condoms and birth control. According to JA, some of these instances of sex are very impulsive, no time for a condom!

I bet the jury members are like "Can we please get on with it so we can find her guilty and then go home".

This trial would bore me to death if I was on the jury.

I know in some cases, they take the jury member to the crime scene, I know with the Hannah Hill case they did.

Did the jury members get to see the house were Travis was killed at? (the outside).

As is often the case when we have cases like this one and the board erupts with posts, I couldn't keep up with reading here and watching the live stream. Don't know how y'all manage to keep up with everything and my hat is off to those of you who can!

Haven't detailed it anywhere online and probably never will, but I once was married to a sociopath, the experiences others have shared here are very similar to my own, they ring very true to me, sometimes painfully so. Watching this killer do what she's doing isn't shocking to me, her lying and other actions are eerily familiar. I've found myself getting really agitated and worked up when listening to her testimony; my ex is capable of that degree of lying and manipulation.

As others here who have been bold enough to share their experiences have said, you truly can't believe the depth and scope of manipulation and lies - and the effect they have on the victim - until you have really experienced it. It is a mind f* in so, so many ways. The "well he/she shoulda, coulda" comments would be insulting to any who have experienced this, but to me it only shows they don't truly understand just how diabolical these people are. They are wickedness walking amongst us. I will be fearful of my ex until he is dead and buried, and I am not a fearful person by nature. He has traveled as far as JA did, many years after we split, just to watch me. And made sure I saw him doing so.


My heart goes out to Travis and his family and friends. :heartbeat: They are in my prayers many times throughout the day. I hope they know how much love and support they have from people all over the world, people who never knew their brother but are standing with them in support.

According to her testimony, she grabbed a handful of the pamphlets and gave him one in person. Later she mailed him one from California.

Three times is very believable to me based on my own experience. I just can't believe anything she says.

Hi folks, haven't been on WS in a very long time. Was so disappointed at how the CA trial ended that I had to walk away. Unfortunetley I have gotten caught up in Jodi trial and I wanted to ask a question about the testamony yesterday. Last week she talked about getting a pamplet at the mall and giving it to Travis prior to her moving away. Yesterday didn't I hear her say that she SENT him a flyer from CA? That seems like a big difference and I wondered if anyone else heard that and I was surprised to not see a seperate thread on the pamplet. Have I missed that thread in my search? Thanks

Yes that is what she said.

From the moment that this horrid boring monotone testimony started she has stated many inconsistencies. There are too many for me to keep up with but knowing how smart Juan Martinez is he hasnt missed one of them.

He is going to chip away at JA until there is nothing but a pool of sweat left in the witness chair.

I guess she was not afraid of getting pregnant or an STD.

I have always wondered why she didn't get pregnant since she was SO obsessed with Travis.

Can you even imagine how his family would feel IF she did?????

I don't know how easy it is to get a pamphlet like that. I wouldn't put it past her to threaten him saying she will tell everyone he knows he is a pedophile and send him pamphlets as a reminder.

First Time poster, long time reader. First I think that everyone here on WS is amazing, it cannot be easy following these trials and bringing to light the victims voices, when so many forget the victims were living beings before they were ratings.. Now it may be of zero importance but I need to ask, has anyone else wondered if her attention to the gallery is because she goes out of her way in everyday life (pre-incarceration) to "out shine" women around her? I keep thinking it must be driving her crazy to see a pretty young blond girl that could draw attention from her. After all it would't help her case to show up in her "bomb-shell" attire. Just moo.

and we've all been waiting for the whole POINT----her version of killing travis. sadly, she'll be on the stand beyond that story because we have to hear about everything she did AFTER she killed him---up to and through her police interviews, i assume. no way nurmi will get through all that this week so it could be ANOTHER week before JM gets to take his crack at all her BS.

You see those too? I saw those when I first looked at the pic and nothing was ever said by the prosecution or ME, and I just figured that those were just neck lines. They are too distinct for neck lines. I think there was rope used, and I think it was on his neck. I know the ME made no mention of it, but is it possible that after decomposition and bloating of the body, those red lines were not as apparent. Just speculating , on my part. I think this poor man was tortured. I feel for his family to have to see this. Travis was right, she is pure evil.

When you take a hot shower your body often has red marks on it from the hot water. I do not think Travis would have ever let her tie him up. LE said there was no rope and no signs of any rope being used. As far as the tassel thread on the stairs. The dog was in the house with his master's dead body upstairs and he had to have been stressed out. Dogs sometimes chew when they are stressed so it's possible the dog may have dropped it on the stairs.

She made the story up. Who backs down the hall into the bathroom to measure a rope to cut it. You are talking about a lot of decorator's cord. That stuff is expensive. And he was so thoughtful, he color coordinated it with the fringe on the pillows on his bed. He didn't know she was coming so somehow he runs out into the middle of the night to buy 20 yards of cord????? And why cut it???? Just tie her up with what he had and let the rest lie on the bed???? jmo

A lot of soiopaths dont want children. They only see children as objects and extensions of themselves when they do have them.
