jodi is just trying to make her story fit the evidence. there was no rope found at the scene and the "tassels" found are most likely from Travis pillow or even his slippers. The only rope in this whole story is the one Jodi continues to hang herself with. Martinez made sure to point of that the tassles were too small to tie anyone up.

I have such a neck ache ...today I am working all morning at my job then heading over. It will be a relief tomorrow to not have to juggle them both and switch gears. JA is simply not believable because any other woman in that sitch would be crying or fuming. She sits there like a lump.

Again, I see what the def was hoping to show, but it just falls flat with JA. Even women who have had their hearts broken won't relate to her.

I wonder how she will spin those shower pics. NONE of those pics look like pics you would take of someone whose lost weight. She said he wanted these pics to show his progress. Who would he show these pics to? his sisters, brothers, church members??? Could you imagine him showing off those dark grainy pics and saying "I lost so much weight!" I would expect to see him flexing, showing his abs, and we see none of those. We see pics of him sitting in a shower and looking startled. She has a lie for everything but if I sat on the jury this would not fly at all.

I agree with you 100%. I have always thought that those shower pics were not willingly taken. He doesn't look as if he is posing to me. He looks very tense and stiff. I think she is using a gun to control him. She probably always wanted to take shower pics of him, but he would never allow it. I think he was forced to do what he never wanted to to. Also, after hearing those text messages he sent her in the week prior, I seriously doubt he would allow her to do this. I think he knew she was pure evil and he experienced it that day. So sad

It's possible but for reference most 25 caliber handguns are very small. They are of course deadly and dangerous but IMO a man Travis's size would rush a 110 pound woman holding a very small gun and try to disarm her, not pose for pictures!

I am curious as to why the other shower photos were not shown and are they coming in later? Any thoughts?

One thing that struck me as chilling yesterday was her description of standing in the doorway and watching Travis because he looked so "cute". I do believe she entered the house on her own...that he didn't greet her...that she delighted in the power she had over him knowing she'd snuck in there with this plan. I don't think he knew she was coming. She was big on "surprises". And trying to re create some kind of "moment" she once had with him that had been long gone.

Also when she keeps saying she was "wishing he would be nice" again I'm sure that's true in one sense. Travis turned a corner early on with her. He decided she was NOT "the one" although very early on he did regard her like that. It was all over and JA was desperately trying to get that feeling back. That she was special, that she was marriage material, that she was his one and only. All the while she knew it was over but desperately trying to retrieve it.

Once she really realized this would never work, that he would never marry her, that she would never in her entire life find a man interested her with the charisma, success and prestige of Travis Alexander, she realized she could not live like that. It never occured to her to kill herself so she did the only thing she could figure to survive this assault on her ego: kill him.

And she set herself up for the entire thing. Absolutely the entire thing. And this jury will see that, convict her and sentence her to death for this premeditated assassination of an innocent man.

She claimed she and her sister were at this Buddist Monastery when the Police were at grandma's house investigating theft. She said they didn't have cell service so didn't know. I cant remember if she said they came home next day but doesn't matter...was a lie as the police report states she came to grannys house while police were there investigating.

I thought I heard on NG last night that Nancy called the temple and they do have cell service...

Evem the story about how the knife entered the bathroom is crazy. She claims that travis went from the bed to the bathroom and measured out the rope. who the hell needs all of that rope for sex? does anyone know the layout or floorplans of travis' bathroom/bedroom? she also claims the rope was lose enough for her to slip her hands out but she said he cut it off of her, so im guessing the knife is now back in the bedroom? *headscratch smiley* why would he need to cut a loose rope?

i wish i could listen to every word she says, but lots of times i'm so busy and other times i get tired of all the details and tune her out. i hope the jury doesn't tune her out tho. the devil is in the details. how is she going to answer what happened to the floor mats and darryl's gas cans the gun and the knife?
