Nothing to do with the sex part but, I think it is a man thing. If I was going to cut rope, I would just look at it and cut it where I think it would work. My dh would not. He would look at it and measure it twice and then cut it. I can see the measuring and the cutting. There are things in her yammerings that make sense on a natural level. Once in a while she will say something and I think " that is true" Then she opens are mouth again and it feels like acting and lying.

If I were on the jury, Even before her story about Him being killed she would be guilty to me. Why?
Because she is trying so hard to be heard about HER. She wants people to listen to her voice. She is coming off to me as narcissistic and self centered. Not at all a victim.

YES! YES! YES! Exactly how I feel!

I'm watching the 'rope' testimony on IS. Jodi keeps saying "WE" when describing the measuring. cutting and knotting of the rope. Then corrects herself and hays "HE".

good catch. she was really off her game yesterday...messing up her own lies. I hope that continues today.

The thing is that I have seen my dh do that. Of course not for sex.. ;) but because that is the way he thinks. It needs to be exact when he cuts. So that one part of her story for me makes sense.. She loses me on needing that same knife to kill him. But I know my dh does not use scissors. He uses a knife every time. This is the only part of this scenario that makes sense.. She loses me on needing it to cut his throat open.

Didnt the state say there was no knives missing from the kitchen of TA's house?

Katiecoolady, I wish I could hit the thanks button twenty times. :yourock:

i'm thinking she'll say he was 'manscaping.'

but thats the thing, his legs were clearly closed during the pics of him sitting. If she's supposed to be taking pics of his cancun body weight loss why would she snap pics of him shaving down there? and from the pics we've seen, he was "bald" down there. She also claims that his bears/mustache was scatching her during oral but you can clearly see he was clean shaven.

BBM - I agree and also feel that the baby gate being up was to keep the dog out while she murdered him....

I think you're right, plus keep the dog away from Travis so that the dog doesn't alert anyone to him. She EVEN locked his bedroom door!!!

And also wouldn't there be a record of the purchase ? Isn't a background check done when you buy a gun in AZ ?

Be prepared for a WHOPPER when JA tells the story about the "gun".

  • #1,249
So has JA ever said where this rope came from? Did she bring it in her carry on suitecase, or since it was Travis who wanted to tie her up did he already have it?

Even with everything I've been through over these last two decades with the DP appellate process, I am 100% behind this murderer receiving the DP for one reason and that's all I need: it's what this family wants.

Also with LWOP she will be in general population vs. isolation in her cell 23 hours per day.

Your heartbreaking story of the endless appeal process and how interminable and awful it was makes me want to protect his family from that pain. I can see why they want the "ultimate" punishment. But I also want this to be over for them.

Of course it makes sense they want her to get the DP---I understand your full support. It's a delicate situation. I hope eventually they get a chance to read your impact statement. It certainly was an education for me.

i just can't see him telling her here you hold this end, while i back all the way into the bathroom..she clearly needed a reason for the knife to be in the bathroom..her yammerings about this rope are just self serving lies to make the evidence (knife access in bathroom) seem plausible. The premeditation before the act sinked her ship before her testimony. i've listened to as much as i can and it all looks like BS to me.

I am not sure that this is what happened. Just saying that it could happen if he was measuring. The thing is I buy nothing of her story that is of merit to her case but this and him measuring strikes me as true. I don't care if the knife was there or not, She did not need to use it. :)

I had to turn the sound all the way down. I can not stand listening to her anymore. I can not wait til the prosecutor gets his turn.. She will definitely not be as pleased with her self as she is now... :floorlaugh:

Ok, who in the hello cuts rope with a knife. You are in a house, not camping, why not scissors?

My husband uses a knife to cut rope, ribbon, you name it. Is it a Boy Scout thing? I don't know. I think it's odd, too, because I have pair of scissors for EVERY type of cutting you'd want to do. :waitasec:

So this man who habitually abused her stopped the first "bondage" experience because she said the rope was scratchy, and then he went out and obtained a silky rope so the binding would be comfortable.

That's what batterers do, they're known to be considerate of their partners and trying to please them and make sex pleasurable for them.

Keep talking, honey.

Yes. She wants us to believe Travis not only was an abuser but a kind one at that :banghead:

Agree. I don't believe there was a rope. once someone starts lying, without proof,I assume everything they say is a lie. How can anyone be expected to wade through BS and sort out what is true and what is not when dealing with a known liar.

Here is where I am having a HUGE FLAG raised in JA testimony. She claims over and over how TA got erect immediately upon becoming pi$%ed off at her. (and the subsequent BS about feeling relieved that he was just going to demand sex vs become physical) but, I don't think it is possible for a man to become erect and maintain it when truly angry.

link of note: http://ehealthmd.com/content/how-does-erection-normally-happen
"What Makes Erection Fail?

Anything that interferes with this chain of events - either by reducing the blood flow to the penis or increasing the blood flow out of it - can cause erectile dysfunction. Fear, anxiety, anger, or any other strong emotion can interrupt the signal from the brain."

A rapist is not feeding off the emotion of anger or rage - they feed off the desire for power and control. So, does anyone know of any man being able to be pi$%ed off and preforming as an INSTANT reaction. (She doesn't describe these events as the time passed 'make up sex' type events but rather as sudden physical manifestations in TA.)

Again, I think this is JA using the erotica (S&M bondage type material) that I think she enjoyed as the genesis of her tales and that this type reaction in a man - only exists in fiction and her own dirty little mind.

Exactly to be honest bordom would set in, a good book would be in my lap and sexy time would be a distant memory :floorlaugh:

I am totally lost. The only thing that makes sense is the KY jelly. You can't mess that up.

Remember her story is she shot him first so she's going to tale this tale of her struggling on the ground, reaching out and then she just finds a gun and shoots. But then the evidence of the gun shot wound wont fit her story. Remember the angle of the shot.

my husband is the same. It's like in his world scissors don't even exist. :D

I'm hoping there are some smokers on the jury. Surely, they will see the level of her exaggerations. Tar oozing on the walls. :waitasec: Yeah, sure.

Too bad my mama isn't on the jury. She smoked until the day she passed. It was her form of enjoyment and we never considered it child abuse. She also liked a spot of whisky at night. I don't buy Jodi's BS for a minute.

On that note, my mom was the greatest person you'd ever met. Even if she smoked and had a whiskey.

As usual, Jodi has to throw everyone under the bus. It's sickening.

MOO
