My thanks button is next to quote button. It's okay. I'll live in ignorance. :)

Maybe the feature doesn't appear on Tapatalk?

Not really. She will IMO just get angry and do terribly at trying to hide it.

so sociopaths and psychopaths just do not become depressed about the circumstances of their lives-ever? they just get mad?

Oh man......Well I am sure i can see it on youtube. So no Juan predicted this week? WAAAAA!!!!!!! LOL No cruise. Condo on the Ocean on an Island. It will kill me not to be here :what:
I remember being away on an island and being thrilled that I could get wi-fi so I could follow the Caylee forum. Casey was about to be sprung from jail and I didn't want to miss the convo here. My family thought I was nuts...but I was so happy to be able to get online. Oh, the magic of the internet.

With all the talk about the photos on a CD, I couldn't help but think that Travis asked for the pictures back because of threats she had made about making them "public". Just a feeling I got.
Sorry...random thought.

Hi RR0004, I have a random also. I wonder if she went there thinking if he "wouldnt" she'd kill him. Maybe she would and he wouldnt so zap. I firmly believe she is a sex maniac. Even the tapes, phone sex, is tape and phone. No proof he actually did all the things she said. Just a thought. Good to see you. :seeya:

Oh and Madeline, your man Juan is in heterosexual and in a long term relationship as I'm told (my good friend, our prosecutor, had an office right next to him her last years as an ADA so she gave me some scoop). But that's all I feel comfortable sharing publicly.

He does have a swagger that's for sure. He is looking MUCH more serious now than any other day I've been in court. He's really gearing up imo.

I have a feeling since they can't link her to a gun at all, she will say she did NOT shoot him and she has no idea who did. She will maintain she did not do that.

i wouldnt put it past her to say that Travis shot himself while trying to shoot her.

Will someone PLEASE help me out with this...

When Jodi was reading the terse text exchange she and Travis had, she read a line of his that accused her of BECOMING LIKE HER MOTHER.

Can anyone put this in context for me? What exactly was she doing that was "like her mother?"

I'm very curious because I suspect Jodi is JUST like her mother. I think all the Wooden Spoon abuse, etc. is mom's anger -- and Jodi is mirroring the sometimes explosive, unrelenting behavior she learned from her mom.

She looks so much like her mom. Her mom also wears the same, deadpan inappropriate Mona Lisa smirk.

So Travis had picked up on this and fired it at her in the text message. But what exactly had she done that he was connecting it to?

T.I.A.!

Ya know the statement about her mom got me too. I don't think he ever meet her family so she must have said things to him so he would feel sorry for her. She told him her lil sister was stupid and dumb. She must have said she thought her brother was gay. Her dad pushed her around and mom beat her. Bet she told him how hard she has had to work to turn out so wonderful.

Many numb themselves with drugs and/or alcohol.

"If I were seeing some guy who made me stay down low because he didn't want his rep to suffer, I'd be PISSED. So would most any woman...."

I don't think I would have participated in a relationship where I had to stay "down low" and be someone's dirty little secret. It would have made me feel bad about myself. If I DID do that, I think I would end up mad at MYSELF for allowing myself to be used in that way.

Well, exactly.

But either way, oughtn't there be some kind of hurt or anger surfacing?

JA is simply not believable because any other woman in that sitch would be crying or fuming. She sits there like a lump.

Again, I see what the def was hoping to show, but it just falls flat with JA. Even women who have had their hearts broken won't relate to her.

She's just not that smart. She overestimated herself in true psychopathic form. The only thing she had were decent looks and sex.

Well she looks terrible, after seeing dead Travis picks no juror would want to do her, she has nothing left to manipulate with!

Great observation Linda, ITA. I think the defense went too far in making her look unattractive...I would have to ask if I was on the jury, why does she look so different now? Who changes their look that drastically? Maybe it's a good thing, if she was still attractive she might have bewitched some of the male jurors - terror.:what:

I don't believe they feel normal human emotions.

One thing I did love though is that the word "sociopath" being descriptive of Jodi came in today...through Travis. Also the word "evil". I don't think that was lost on the jury.

That was priceless. I do think they have emotions....rage being the most prevalent and the root of any other genuine emotion they express (fear and frustration).

No, they adapt. They thrive in prison. They have zero attachments. Everyone else in the world is simply a pawn to her in her chess game she calls a life.

ok...I've pressed the "multi-quote" button but it does't highlight anything or help me to "multi-quote" in any way. What now?
Do it on the post you want to quote, it will turn red, then quote the other post you want to quote.

She's going to say she put it back in the butcher block, even though that is clearly a flat-out lie. Or hell, maybe she'll say she put the knife and gun in the washing machine with the camera and has no idea what happened to them or why police didn't recover them. No telling with her, except it will certainly be outlandish.

I thought it wasn't just that no knives were missing from Travis home, but also that the knives didn't match up to his wounds.

Anybody?

Am I misremembering?

The problem with that is I saw one of his friends on some show and he said that Travis and him would go shooting. Travis did not have a gun and would borrow his. He said Travis would have been excited to tell him he bought a gun.

Hopefully there will be some on the jury who know about guns. 25 autos are not popular guns, they are very small and not a first pick. They were a popular gun back in the day but not so anymore. It's more like the type of gun you'd find a grandpa owning.

I think you can get banned, I would take a penalty.

Every piece of technology in the case belonging to Jodi is broken ... laptops, cameras, disk drives, cell phones ... you name it. And even if she lost her cell phone charger ( why would she take it out of the car at Darryl's ? ), why would she not buy another when traveling that far ?

You forgot cars

I find my self logically thinking that he would have just wrapped the rope around the headboard and then let out enough rope on each side for the arms and to tie around the hands and then I snap out of it and realize NONE OF IT IS TRUE!

I think that is crazy on my part... trying to rationalize all of her crazy lies.

I have to literally stop myself- and think- no, she is lying.

Good point, Frigga -- I did the same thing early in this case. I tried to apply everyday logic to some blather she had spouted, and I just couldn't make it fit, and then Ka-bam! it hit me that she was just spewing carp, so no wonder it didn't make sense.

I think us running into this situation is telling -- it says to me that we must hang around with pretty normal peeps, and that's a good thing!
