Apologies if this has been mentioned but.... Nurmi asks JA something along the lines of why she is "hairless down there" and she said because Travis didnt like any hair at all.... so if the plan was not to see Travis at all why was she groomed to 'his liking'??

Exactly! Great point Suz. What a bimbo. I :floorlaugh: at someone who commented on fb that the dog was smart enough to leave the room when TA supposedly got angry but Jodi wasn't that smart. Come on, what woman in her right mind, living a 1000 miles away from an abusive guy would keep running back for more bad, abusive treatment. The woman is nuts and full of BS and not a good liar at all. She wanted TA to check up on her via her e-mail account. She was trying to make him jealous, otherwise she would changed her e-mail password. It only takes one smart cookie on the jury to bring a few of her many lies to the forefront to hopefully convict her. Let's hope there's at least one smart cookie on that jury. JMO

Ok so I got to the court for the afternoon and found some of my courtroom pals (Travis' friends) and was told there was a new seating situation for the friends of Travis now. Wasn't sure how it was gonna go down until T's friend Pam approached me with Tanisha's husband Harold and said "you're a cousin of the family now" and he put his arm around me and ushered me in. So I ended up seated right in the front row just two seats down from Travis' family. I had a front row seat to the jury and to JA.

Once I was seated this camera man who I know (Dennis from In Session) asked me if I'd heard "the news". He then went on to tell me at length how both Beth K and Jean C had been "laid off" and how Tru Tv is dissolving to just two hours of taped trials only w/ Vinnie and no more live trials. I'm still so devastated about this I don't want even to type it. I did end up talking with both Beth and Jean today in person. This will be their last trial (if anyone wants to talk to me about going in on some kind of gift, let me know. I'll definitely get a special card for eeach of them but there's time for that). That' sjust horrible news to me personally. I hope someone else rises up to fill that gap.

Ok gonna post this then review my notes.....:seeya:

How awesome would it be if both Beth & Vinnie got their own show together hosting important news-worthy trials?! Not sure what network they could air it on...but I would be psyched to see a court related show w/ Beth & Vinnie as the hosts!

Maybe if you get another opportunity to talk to Beth or an IS producer, you could mention it? :please:

Oh yes, the email. She obviously sent him the accidental text on purpose. She really thinks she is so much smarter than everyone, yet she's so blatantly transparent. The TV people need to stop saying she's smart. She's one of the dumbest murderers ever. This may be the worst planned murder I have seen in all my time of following crimes.

And she is worried about the price difference of gas, and yet she goes for a manicure and a strawberry frappacinno. Not exactly penny pinching.

I think the funniest lie is the skateboarders in Pasadena, who decided to turn her license plate upside down. Yea, sure. They had their phillips screw drivers and pulled a little prank on a stranger for the lolz.

Excuse me, I must admit I have no idea what a strawberry frappacino is...but
could she say she spilled one in the rental car and that is what caused the
red stains? I would think that if it was blood it would be difficult to clean/remove...but what about strawberry syrup?

And I hope she wears a bigger blouse tommorrow...even I and DH could see her
bra with those spaces between the buttons...
Just sayin...:notgood:

My DD orders them sometimes but they are more pink than red. I am not sure if a spill would turn into a red stain. I guess it depends upon what color/type of fabric it spilled on.

Yup, that white blouse was an epic FAIL. I wonder what she will wear when she describes the stabbing and shooting and fleeing the scene?

im hanging to hear from JA how the gun miraculously appeared if its not the one stolen from her Grandfather!

  • #987
I theorize that it didn't exist. It's only role was to give the knife a reason to be in the bedroom at Travis' hand, not hers. Blame him for the knife by way of dirty sex scenario.

There was no rope. She brought the knife. iMo.

She said the knife came from Travis's kitchen knife block. Did I hear her correctly?

I remember reading that no knives appeared to be missing from Travis's house, including the knife block. Was this in the police report? I'm off to quickly check.

If they did not find any knives to be missing, wouldn't the LE test those that could be the murder weapon (based on size, etc.)or even test them all for blood?

jmo here but I too have noted this as well and what I believe is that she is attempting to actually use the dog as some type of "witness" to attempt to corroborate her ficticious testimony.. for instance just as she did today with the office tale she states that Napoleon got up and left the room as he always did when Travis became angry..

IMO in her effed up mind this is really somehow acting as a "witness" to corroborate her stories..IMO she truly believes that these added details involving this dog are making her statements more believable ...

jmo but this IS EXACTLY WHAT AND WHY I SEE HER USING HIS DOG IN HER TESTIMONY..

crazy?...without a doubt, but IMO when speaking of Jodi this is not at all surprising..jmo

Since bestiality was brought up in her testimony (among every sexual disorder on record), could she be setting it up to include Napolean into the deviancy and Travis' attacked the dog and she had to kill him before he killed the dog?

It's Travis' gun of course! He secretly bought it (there will be no receipts or any paper trail) to use during role play with Jodi. Right?

Oh god. Please. No.

How is Napoleon? How is Jewel? Napoleon was left in that house for five days with no food or water. B*%$

ohh thats right!, she dropped the camera and he was angry so he puled out his gun that he had hidden in the shower head and she started shaking like a chihuahua quickly looked around for something to defend herself saw the knife which he used earlier to cut the rope and attacked him in self defense... yeah thats what happened

Recalled post that doubted a dog would leave a room when owner is unhappy:

My DD has a dog that will leave the room if she as much as thinks she may get mad. Once you change your tone, she leaves. So there's a possibility that she may have seen this in her lifetime...as I am sure she has made more than one person extremely angry.

If I were a juror I would certainly think a woman who is afraid of an abusive man would not enter his home without knocking. Don't have to figure out why she has a stalker reputation sneaking into Travis's santuary in the middle of the night after he hadn't seen her in two months. Most important is what Travis said in his texts about her being a sociopath, never loved him, and how she scammed him.

No kidding. Who would not be freaked out by someone staring at them at 4am, in their own home?

Anyone else notice that as she is trying to paint herself as the victim and saint-like, she is actually describing very troubling and scary behavior?

Her own perspective is tainted in that she believes the stories she is telling the jury will make her look 'normal', when in fact they make her look every bit like Travis described her in one of his texts. The fact that she cannot see this is telling of her own mental abnormality.

What she believes to be 'normal' behavior is anything but normal to the rest of us.

Scary.

About Beth Karas and Jean Caserz --

If the info about their jobs is true, I think it's deplorable. TruTV has gone really down and the channel does not know that it has a base of hard core trial/true crime/Websleuths fans who could really support the channel. It could be another Investigation Discovery, if it had the initiative.

I hope Beth and Jean consider other avenues for their reporting, perhaps something like a webcast, where they could get advertisers? Also, and this is not to disparage Vinnie Politan in any way, why keep him and not the other anchors/reporters?

About the stains in the rental car... The police were on to Jodi right away because she tried to insert herself into the investigation by calling Det. Flores right after Travis was found, talking at length on the phone to Flores before she was called in to be interviewed. They already knew they had her dead to rights. A couple of weeks on those stains is pretty fresh evidence IMO. Also the folks who found the body told the police right away "Look at Jodi Arias for this murder".

Question is: Did police go to the rental company, seize the car and cut into those seats that had been cleaned for the "red koolaid" and if so, what did they find? I don't remember hearing anything about search and seizure of this white Ford Focus that she rented.

Does anyone know? This has been bugging me tonight.

Katiecoolady....First I would like to thank you for the amazing insight you share with your experiences in the courtroom. I just want to touch on a couple of things...

TruTV cancelling live trial coverage - YAY! I'm so glad they are making more time for shows like Lizard Lick Towing, Hardcore Pawn, World's Dumbest, and the like. Lord knows this Country will be much better off with such quality programming available to us 4 more hours per day!

There was one point that I could have sworn Jodi was glaring at JM, I even made a post about it at the time. I've linked the video, starting at 3:50...at 3:57 JM objects, it appears that JA first looks at JM during the objection, at 4:02 the judge sustains the objection and JA lets out a very subtle sigh and looks down (kind of like one does when someone says something they don't like and the listener lets out a "hmphh", like they think the statement, or ruling in this case, is ridiculous...it's very hard to express in writing but I hope you get what I mean). Then, at 4:15 she answers with a simple 'yes' to the question and glares at JM as if to say "There, happy now" or that is my perception, at least (inserted picture of her expression below). That glare continues until 4:18. Either way, her frustration with not being able to tell things the exact way she wants to is evident during this exchange.

I'm really glad you're able to interact with Travis' family and hope that at the end of this trial the family is able to find some closure and allow Travis to rest in peace for eternity. I can't fathom how difficult it must be to sit through day after day of self-fulfilling testimony from the person who took away a loved-one forever.

Thank you, Katie, for all that you do.

She packed her stuff, left the house and came back to kill him. Didn't someone say he leaves the door unlocked? When she walked out that door after their session, she made up her mind that he must die. I wonder if she watched many movies like "Fatal Attraction". I get the flavor that she did.

  • #999
OMG, you're right. She's trying to make "Naps" her witness. In a sad way, he probably was.
.

Has anyone here heard the song, Breezeblocks, by alt-j? Well, I watched their video on youtube last night and let me tell you....it sent shivers up my spine (I was shak'n like a Chihuahua). I watched it over and over to really get the meaning of it. It's like it was written with JA in mind.

You all have to see it. I don't know if I'd be able to post the link, due to rules; however, just look for the video on youtube called 'breeblocks' by Alt-j. Be sure to pick the video uploaded by altjband, as it is the official video.

That video (and the lyrics) describe what could have been, had TA actually moved on to another serious relationship.

I laughed out loud when she talked about being spun around AGAIN...my kids thought I was nuts. I couldn't help it...it was so redonkulous and I kept getting visions of ballroom dancers or roller disco people spinning...I think I am losing it.

I've never been 'spun around' (although my dh and I did attempt some swing lessons back in 'the day') and yet JA has been "spun around" by Matt, Bobby, and Travis? Did I miss anyone?

Oh, and I've never had anyone threaten my family (and if I ever did it would not be a 'light' argument or misunderstanding as the wrath would fall upon anyone who did threaten someone in my family) and yet JA has had three threats on her family? Bobby, Travis, and the 'Ninjas'? Again, am I missing anyone?
