You can't. You can only go with what evidence you have and use that as the guidepost and not get in the trap of filling in the holes with imaginings of what might have happened.

Remember her story is she shot him first so she's going to tale this tale of her struggling on the ground, reaching out and then she just finds a gun and shoots. But then the evidence of the gun shot wound wont fit her story. Remember the angle of the shot.

Can someone post the pics of the tassels from the bathroom and on the steps? travis had some kind of shag sandals and the "tassels" look like they came from the sandals or his pillows. I just can't see him tearing up his pillows to tie up JA.

Another question is...the fact it is quite cramped in that shower, its only standing room, I cant see how anyone would willingly sit in an awkward postion just to get a photo taken. Why not stand up, it had the same effect of looking through the shower screen.

THe pictures do not look posed, they look self concious and really awkward. This IMO was JA's idea.

I think she may have the gun on him, his hands and head are not in the shot, so his arms must be raised reasonably high, particularly his right arm.

do you all think that she will try to say the cuts on her hand were defense wounds?? That Travis came at her with the knife first but she turned into superwoman and got it away from him, or some other superhuman story.

She'll say she doesn't remember. There's going to be a lot she conveniently doesn't remember.

They just got the news over the weekend. My impression is they are still stunned and in shock over the whole thing and have no idea what's going to happen next.. Beth said to me"it's the end of an era" and tears sprung straight to my eyes...hers too. And we hugged and I thanked her for all the great reporting and told her just how much I've appreciated her. This will be her last trial reporting on.

No idea if there is another plan in the works but no one I talked to is expecting some other network to pick it up

I want to start a letter writing campaign ...if anyone has any ideas of th best way to do this to send a message to CNN it would be great. Or Turner broadcasting...???

While I think Beth should definitely keep to reproting on trials, it's worth noting that Savannah Guthrie, former NBC White House correspondent and now Today show host was a CTV colleage of Beth, Jean & Vinnie.

There's something great out there for Beth, I know it.

Another little tidbit - JA says she put the sheets in the washer after sex as they ALWAYS did ... then when did the camera get into the washer ?

Certainly that is another lie as she most likely dragged him on a sheet and had to wash them to get the blood out.

This may be the unpopular vote, but I've never been in the camp who believed she washed the camera intentionally. As a seasoned digital photographer, she would well know that soap and water will not necessarily erase a Memory card. It may fry the wiring of the camera, but not erase data. I personally believe she did to the camera what I accidentally did to my daughter's cellphone when I gathered up all her bed sheets in a hurry and threw them in the wash. Cellphone included. Ugh.

That's just my thought. She was just so meticulous about all her planning. I fail to see this very gross error fit into her MO. She could have easily found more reliable and explainable ways to destroy the photo evidence. I think the washed camera demonstrates her losing track of it as she was more fixated in her panic to clean the sheets.

And why bother to wash a bloody shirt???? She must have never done a load of laundry in her life. Everyone knows that never would come out once drenched straight through with blood??? Why not put it in a garbage bag and burn it in the desert - or wherever she disposed on the rental car floor mats?

She shot him once the roommate was gone. The roommate left for work when the attack went down. He wasn't home thank God because I believe she would've killed him too.

Be prepared for an Alice in Wonderland story and then we will all go down a "rabbit hole" when JA begins the TA attack and the use of the gun.

yep thats exactly where we are going. She's about to take this story to another level.

She's going to be saying "I don't remember" a lot today. Expect the drama because nothing in her self defense story fits the evidence.

Don't worry about Beth K. First of all, she's going to get one heck of a severance package, having been with the company for nearly 20 years. She could retire today if she wanted to ($$$). That said, she will be scooped up somewhere or possibly do her own thing--she has a ton of options available to her. On her radio interview with Tricia the other week she said writing a book is something she's been pondering (possibly she has already started some initial steps on that?). Anyway, she'll be fine. The really huge change was when CourtTV changed to TruTV and her mentor, the guy who hired her, left. That was the real end of an era.

What is with this girl and her obsession with spinning? Next we'll hear she took spinning classes!

I wonder if each local tv station carries the trials on their own of if they just all use the same feed? And where does that feed come from?

Maybe we can figure out a way to get to cover them ourselves :floorlaugh:
