In preparation for our class action suit against Nurmi, Arias, et al, for undue and callous emotional harm this is what I've tabulated: 8 days of testimony billed at $225 per hour (Nurmi's going rate) though charged for 24 hours per day because we are always conducting investigative research x 655 people currently on this board =

$28,296,000 (Or £18,495,312.55, if you are so inclined.) :biggrin:

Pleeese add my bill. I only have Lite internet and the live streaming ate up my monthly quota 'cos of Nurmi dragging this out. In order to watch from day two of her testimony to the end of this month I have to pay an additional $100 cdn. (There's no point in me going up to the next level because I normally have tons left over each month, and once you go up, you can't drop down.)

I had to go get my kids and missed the last hour or so. What happened? I understand Nurmi ended his questioning. Were there jurors laughing? What's up?

Judge took attorneys into chambers .As for what happened - I can't explain- you just HAVE to watch.

Why in the world would she feel "ashamed" of defending herself from her attacker who she believed was going to kill her?

Wouldn't a domestic violence victim feel profound RELIEF after killing her abuser? Relief that he couldn't abuse me anymore, or relief that unsuspecting children would be safe from him. I think relief and horror and remorse are all appropriate feelings for a TRUE domestic violence victim.

I don't think that's contrition. I think that's her admitting in open court that she killed him in cold blood. Admitting it was Murder ... not self defense.

Your other question - no, we don't (or I have not see it) have any photo or video showing them together and engaged. She claimed she made a video on her Olympus camera, erased it but then started today saying the camera was not in the house she didn't need it for this part of her trip. Ooopsssssssieeeeeee, so many details to remember when one lies!

Sooooo I had to skip about 50 pages...did she ever explain how she knew to include a bunch of stab wounds in her story that needed to comport with the forensic evidence? I thought she blanked out after the gun went off--how would she have known about the stab wounds?

I zoned them out a few times but I don't remember any explanation of how she would know to make her story account for multiple stab wounds, what with her black out and all. I could have missed though.

I think Travis was in the shower assuming Jodi was already gone.

So, Travis was trying to tackle her and calling her names AFTER she shot him in the head and Jodi is claiming SHE was scared?

SELDOM have I ever been so adamant about guilt before all the testimony was in. There have been some very high profile cases I still are questionable verdicts. This girl, Jodi, IMO, would kill again if allowed out of prison.

It just so happens, she bought another gun after her first killing. BBM
