HLN just played the part where she said "I have no memory of stabbing him"...

I'm sure she will blame someone else for somehow knowing to include it in her story!

But she remembers putting the bloody knife in the dishwasher....

Hi, just watched the end on HLN. Aw, she didnt want to shoot him~~~ so she turned around and slit his throat!! Juan is going to bring forth those pictures every chance he gets! more power to him. By the time he gets through she will wish she were dead. :what:

Jodi Arias' defence: EPIC FAIL

Sooooo I had to skip about 50 pages...did she ever explain how she knew to include a bunch of stab wounds in her story that needed to comport with the forensic evidence? I thought she blanked out after the gun went off--how would she have known about the stab wounds?

Ah no, but I'm thinking she heard it on the street, you know maybe someone popped into work and told her about Travis' wounds. No, wait! ...

She says she CONFESSED!

Why in the world would she feel "ashamed" of defending herself from her attacker who she believed was going to kill her?

GAME OVER.
She's showing contrition. Just part of the game.

If Jodi doesn't remember or answer questions about stabbing, does that mean Juan can't ask about it?

I'm sure Juan will "jar" her memory. :great:

Good question.... Anybody?

He can ask her all about it. Those crime photos are in evidence. He can ask her about each and every stab wound, and about his slit throat, and the blood splatter and the bloody drag marks...etc etc etc...

Does the judge ask any jury questions before the Juan show tomorrow?

I believe it is after both attny's are finished with her. If I'm wrong someone jump in.

If I were a juror i would not be able to contain myself!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Katiecool said the one juror snickered to himself yesterday.

I had to go get my kids and missed the last hour or so. What happened? I understand Nurmi ended his questioning. Were there jurors laughing? What's up?

The jurors laughing was a joke in response to my question. Nurmi said he had no more questions and the judge called a recess and excused the jurors to their room. Then she said they had a matter to address in closed chambers and said court would resume tomorrow morning at 10:30. We're trying to figure out, or guess at least, about what the closed chambers could be about.

What could they have possibly been laughing about?

A young man died a violent death, and his family is right in front of you. There is nothing at all funny about that.
I'm very emotionally invested in this case but I can't fault the jurors for reacting to something around them after having to sit through intense, horrific testimony and evidence about someone they didn't know.

I don't think the family would blame them for that either. They probably realize they're human, unlike Jodi, and require, or may even react with, levity after/to a pretty daunting task at hand. (Much as we require it here too.) There's an immense sense of relief now that direct's over for me...I wonder if the jury feels the same.

From all katiecoolady's and PASA's observations it would seem as though most of the courtroom realize the gravity of the situation and aren't flippant or facetious.

MOO

My husband wants me to meet him in the city for dinner tomorrow night at some restaurant he read about.

I told him to take a friend or two, or a good book.

Watched the trial on live feed from abc15. Much better viewing than InSession or HLN. I will miss Beth, Jean and Joey though.

Too many commercials...

Very strange. Nurmi, after having her testify to the various interview stories, ending with Jodi saying she finally confessed the truth in January 2010.

Joey demonstrated how that questioning might go and it could be quite powerful IMO, even if she says she can't remember.

I had to run carpool and that was when Jodi "said" what happened to Travis, but it's not her fault.

I do have a question.....if Jodi had the time to go get the gun and return to the bathroom doesn't that make it murder and not self defense?
