Oh! One more thing. Pretty sure I sat next to Juan Martinez' mother today.

I heard several attorneys/commentators say they thought today was basically a guilty plea to second degree murder. What do you think?
Well said. I seem to recall some mention of a fast-food or auto-parts store type job he mentioned on his myspace or in his blog... but don't quote me because I may be remembering incorrectly.
PPL may have been Travis' first and only job (with maybe a fresh-out-of-HS job for a short time prior). Keeping a job and being self-supporting at that age is commendable to me, especially not having much if any good role models concerning work ethic/discipline... I see nothing bad about that, no matter what kind of job he had. But that's just me.![]()
Flores is Mormon? I missed that, and how in the world would Jodi know that?
Ok, agree with that in a big way. Let's back up and break this down (to use a Nurmism).
A loaded gun.
Not in a gun safe.
No trigger lock.
Out of sight, top shelf, in the back. And he totally forgot it was there.
"Yeah, hun, would you dust the shelves in the closet? Be sure to take everything off the dusty shelf."
Yeah, right. Sure. I believe that. Not. Even.
mister nurse on the 25 cal gun
1) no one keeps a round chambered in a gun with the safety off
2) a 25 cannot be loaded and not chambered unless you have a magazine
3) to load and chamber a round would take a couple of seconds and you would have to know what you are doing (she claims to never have shot a gun iirc)
(mister nurse is an army officer)
Mister nurse says no way in hello did she have time (I told him the distance to the closet) be body slammed, recover from that, run to the closet, climb up, get the gun, load the gun/chamber the round and run back out and fire on Travis at that trajectory.

This is a minor point but still bugs me- she's supposed to be taking some formal photos of him posing in the shower. So why are the photos so poorly lit, so atrocious?
BOZ BOZ BOZ :great:
LOL, that was a great moment when Prosecutor BOZ called out that dude about posting here. :laughcry:
Thank you for the amazing notes again katie.
Are you in court tomorrow? Hopefully the jury's body language etc will change once JM gets going

Ok, I just have to ask about something that has been bothering me, trivial but bothering nonetheless.
I understand that one of the things JA is using in her 'abuse' defense is that TA kept their relationship a secret, no one knew...blah blah blah blatty blah.
But, it seems like they spent A LOT of time alone in his bedroom. Noone, not the roommates (if her story about her car being in the driveway parked int he same spot she always did is to be believed) anyho, no one, not a single person thought possible improper behavior was occurring (aka sex of some nature)? She claims in another part of her testimony that basically she lived there her last week in AZ and slept every night in his bed.
I just wondered about that. How big a secret was it really?
Kelly
How callous this woman is that she remembers and mentions putting the knife in the dishwasher after she murders the occupant of the home. She only remembers her attempt to be tidy? My head still might explode going over all the ridiculous things she said. What a mockery her testimony has been so far.
Dr. Manion on NG has some very important points to make about the gun shot wound. Can't wait to get back to the facts of this case. Jurors will be delighted to not have to listen to Jodi and her crazy sex talk, and her attorney who can't seem to talk about anything but sex.
Does anyone have a link to where I can watch all of todays trial, my usual youtube is not available today, thanks
And really, wouldn't the canteen (or whatever the little market is called in the jail) keep track of how much medicine an inmate is purchasing? Wouldn't you need ALOT of freaking Advil to do this? I assume they sell the little 2 pill packets - not entire bottles.
